That is such an anti-Christ statement--you need to be called out on it!

Jesus--the Word himself--spoke in parables explaining that the deeper spiritual meaning was not even to be known by everyone, just those he chose to reveal the meaning to...which he didn't even do for them until they asked. The words were such a mystery even to the apostles--they had to ask the Source what the words even meant! And in addition, his explanation included a general reference to every word from God, saying, "To you it has been given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God, but to the rest it is given in parables, that ‘Seeing they may not see, And hearing they may not understand." The public word as it comes to all whether from Jesus directly as in the example of his parables, or in the scriptures--the whole Bible--"is given in parables."

In accordance with Ezekiel 3: You have been warned.

Indeed, there are many who are guilty of all that, but that does not mean that some are not true. In fact the scriptures--God--declares it.

That is because most use the already twisted scriptures available from your favour Christian book shop to justify their own understanding.

Briefly, this seems like a debate topic that will hook a great deal of drama.

My view is simply this. The Rock in Matthew 16 is Jesus.
Jesus said,understanding of his words is given by the father alone.
Which I think makes sense when our salvation is given by God and his choice to bestow grace upon those he leads to himself.

It's contextually consistent in that all of existence is of God,so all salvation and understanding of his truth after we are his,is given by God too.

Sure. I think God speaks often. Do we always listen? Hear? Probably not. But, that's part of our tempering,our learning.

God's word is truth. His holy Spirit will guide us into truth. We will know what is true because that is what makes us free in the spirit of truth.

God knows our heart.
We can pretend to be what we are not. But,we don't fool God. He knows who is who. And he will expose us as his or not,in his own time.
