see, as I understand what is happening in your thinking is that you assume that your sense or understanding of justice is God's sense and understanding of justice....which comes down to revenge, you know, pay back.....and you read these texts through that lens.

My understanding of justice however is informed by the attitude and behaviour of Jesus. It is through this lens that I interpret these texts.
Justice as I understand God's view of it is liberation from oppression for all people even those deliberately and enthusiastically killing Jesus.
Don't you say it was for your sins Jesus died?....in that case the revenge you hope will be exercised on the wicked is an oppression Jesus died to liberate you from. Why is that you may ask? Because ill will towards another ensures you stay in bondage.

If God is love and one of the definitions of love in 1 Corinthians 13 is 'love holds no record of wrongs' How is that reconciled with God squeezing the blood out of the wicked?

THE MOTIVES OF TRANSGRESSORS: Three reasons they are caused to move contrary to the will of God.
- Rivalry. So there are people being charitable...we can compete with them...no problem.
- Ambition. So there are people being appreciated and commended...we will gain favour and advancement, eminence and applause, yes...and power!
- Covetousness. So people shouldn't have to give things they want for themselves...there's no harm in accumulating and retaining wealth whenever, however, and from whomever you can.

THE JUDGMENT OF GOD: Instantly, with no recourse to repentance and restoration.

Acts 5:5-11
(5) And Ananias hearing these words fell down, and gave up the ghost: and great fear came on all them that heard these things.
(6) And the young men arose, wound him up, and carried him out, and buried him.
(7) And it was about the space of three hours after, when his wife, not knowing what was done, came in.
(8) And Peter answered unto her, Tell me whether you sold the land for so much? And she said, Yea, for so much.

Why has Satan filled your heart? Why have you conceived this thing in your heart? How is it that you have agreed together to tempt the Spirit of the Lord?

No chance is given Ananias and Saphira to answer these questions but God knows all things, and His swift response is a warning to all who imagine they can behave falsely.

Satan can fill anyone's heart if they allow him into it. Not a good idea! Eph 4:27 applies.

Rev.1...Begins with the “warning”, “pleas”, “urgency” TO Christ’s Church Members.....
Christ’s Church “ORDER”...”WAY”...has been in effect 2,000+ years...

* REVIVAL...men IN Christ, opened their mouths, spoke, encouraged men OF the World to Hear, become Prepared.
* SCOFFERS...on their heels.

* World did not end...
* But thousand of men, became prepared, THEIR NATURAL LIFE DID END, and THEY DIED IN CHRIST, saved.

RESULT?
SCOFFERS...continue to laugh, ha, ha, Stupid Preaching, the world did not end.
FACT....Life IN the World DID END for Thousands of men.
FACT....oops, oops, MANY men DID DIE, without Christ.

FACT..”natural understanding”....the World WILL END.

Wrath of the Lamb is the wrath of God. Here is wrath generally on all men who suppress the truth

Romans 1 18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, 19 because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them. 20 For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse,

And wrath is on all unbelievers currently, dont have to wait for it. But this wrath is stored up for a future manifestation.
And before you believed, God's wrath was also on you, but was withheld from causing your demise as God had a different plan for your life.

John 3:36 He who believes in the Son has everlasting life; and he who does not believe the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him.”

People store up God's wrath against themselves

1. Romans 2:5
   But in accordance with your hardness and your impenitent heart you are treasuring up for yourself wrath in the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God,

   but to those who are self-seeking and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness—indignation and wrath,

   But if our unrighteousness demonstrates the righteousness of God, what shall we say? Is God unjust who inflicts wrath? (I speak as a man.)

The wrath of the Lamb has come in Revelation, is God's wrath now being shown to all the world in obvious displays of His power against the wicked.
That wrath of God has now come onto the unbelieving world as they are ripe for it. Jesus saves us from wrath. If Christ did not save us, we would experience His wrath, there is only one way to escape His wrath, and that is to believe in Christ, then God's wrath is turned away from us.


Romans 4:15
because the law brings about wrath; for where there is no law there is no transgression.

Romans 5:9
Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him.

What if God, wanting to show His wrath and to make His power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath prepared for destruction,

Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but rather give place to wrath; for it is written, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord.

forbidding us to speak to the Gentiles that they may be saved, so as always to fill up the measure of their sins; but wrath has come upon them to the uttermost.

1 Thessalonians 5:9-10 Christ died for US, that is for believers, not for unbelievers or in other words, those who will never believe in Christ... The connection is shown in v10, as the ones for whom HE died, are the ones who live for HIM and only the saved live for HIM, only they benefit from Christ's death and have eternal life. The unsaved live for themselves and do not love God, and they perish in hell. The whole reason for Christ's death was so that believers, not unbelievers would have eternal life, read John 3:16

For God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, 10 who died for us, that whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with Him.
