That's amazing workmanship! On a purely aesthetic level India has some incredible temples. I don't like to look TOO closely at them and be looking at their demon gods.

I been to petra , many many moons ago when the earth was young . Yes way back in nineteen ninety five
we flew over the desert in Helos on a half day trip to petra . I remember well walking through the narrow ways
that led into the city of rock . That was a long time ago . I often wondered what on earth
they are guarding over there . Cause they shut certain areas off to civilian and or even military visits .
As we were not allowed to go into certain areas . I wonder who carved that city out many years ago .

Some of them believe that the moutain that Moses ascended is over in that area .
But they never said it was a fact . We did climb up some of them
and nearer the top of one it looked like it had once been on fire , the rocks had even a blackish color to them .
Some folks theorize it will be where the jews are hidden . But i highly doubt it on that one .
Folks know where it is .

I was reading that they estimated it would take 100's of years with modern tech to build this, yet they did it in 18 years with hammers and chisels. And then I was reading that some researchers didn't really know just how it was they built this. I read that all of the stone that was removed is just gone.

It is amazing how many elaborate structures were built by more primitive people.
Even the beautiful, old cathedrals in the UK and elsewhere took many, many years to build.

I watch Escape to the Country and they sometimes show people working to restore the British cathedrals. The weather causes the wear and tear on them... amazing they held up as long as they did.

It’s always intrigued me how these old historical buildings ect were made, like the pyramids ect.
We have modern equipment to help, but they had very little.
So it’s more about the skills they had rather than who they were worshipping.
Many of the basic things we take for granted developed over generations because of the skills of others. …….
