Yes and no you are taking that verse to literal anyone who accepts Jesus Christ as their Lord and savior becomes a New Man 2Cr 5:17 Therefore if any man [be] in Christ, [he is] a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. 2Cr 5:18 And all things [are] of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation This is how the gentiles can be grafted in ... As Jews they had to follow the Law and ordinances ect. Christ fulfilled these with his coming and death on the cross So in accepting him you/anyone becomes a New Man this is true for Jew or gentile .. However that doesn't change the fact that God reserved a remnant Judah (Jews) to preserve the Law and maintain the scepter .... Israel (10 N. tribes) he divorced them for their Idolatry scattered them and made them new men in Jesus Christ they still retained the birth right ... Because of Christs death on the cross Salvation was opened to all so therfore the gentile is grafted into Israel by God's Grace ..... So in essence the three are still two Jew (Judah w/ Benjamin) and Christian (10 lost tribes w/ gentiles) who make the true church the bride of Christ ..... This will be true untill the age of the Gentile is passed .... At Christs return the two sticks Judah and Joseph (Ephraim) are rejoined under Christ as the true Bride /Church This is called THE WHOLE HOUSE OF ISRAEL (Jacob) And this is what Eze. 37:16 - 23 is talking about 16Moreover, thou son of man, take thee one stick, and write upon it, For Judah, and for the children of Israel his companions: then take another stick, and write upon it, For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim and for all the house of Israel his companions: One stick is for Judah w/Benjamin and a few Levites (the scepter) ....... the other stick is for Joseph/ Ephraim (the birth right) with the the 10 tribes called Israel (Christians w/Gentiles grafted in ) 17And join them one to another into one stick; and they shall become one in thine hand. this has not happened yet 18And when the children of thy people shall speak unto thee, saying, Wilt thou not shew us what thou meanest by these? 19Say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will take the stick of Joseph, which is in the hand of Ephraim, and the tribes of Israel his fellows, and will put them with him, even with the stick of Judah, and make them one stick, and they shall be one in mine hand. repeated in for emphasis 20And the sticks whereon thou writest shall be in thine hand before their eyes. 21And say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will take the children of Israel from among the heathen, whither they be gone, and will gather them on every side, and bring them into their own land: 22And I will make them one nation in the land upon the mountains of Israel; and one king shall be king to them all: and they shall be no more two nations, neither shall they be divided into two kingdoms any more at all. 23Neither shall they defile themselves any more with their idols, nor with their detestable things, nor with any of their transgressions: but I will save them out of all their dwellingplaces, wherein they have sinned, and will cleanse them: so shall they be my people, and I will be their God. The rest of these verse's have not occired yet and will not until Christ returns as King of Kings Lord of Lords
