First, I understood that the greatest proof that Jesus is God, is that I know He is, because I know Him.
I know Jesus is God, because the Lord and God saving me is not just another created angel and man.
No intellectualized debate in details of Scripture can do anything about that.
Then, I also learned that all those denouncing Jesus as not God, don't even know Him nor God.
It is not only foolish for those ignorant of God to argue about who He is and is not, but it is equally foolish to take the ignorant seriously about Him.
There is still no doubt profit in exercising our knowledge of Scripture to expose their lies about Scripture and Him, but it's only intellectual.
Knowing God and knowing Jesus as God is all that matters in the end. All others remain ignorant of Him, until they repent of sinning against Him, that they may receive and know Him also.
