Hey there everyone. Recently i was told i should tell others to not eat meat. Perhaps as a way to pay for my past sins.

To me it is really simple.
God does not command us to kill as far as i know. And we have no way of knowing if some parts of the Bible has been manipulated to trick us into doing evil.

Also i would be surprised if God does not see a huge difference in eating meat for survival and just doing it for something as incredibly selfish as taste.

It means it is far riskier to eat meat than not to.

God killed the first animal and Jesus cooked fish and ate the passover meal which traditionally included lamb. Without meat what do you do for your protein?

Hi ~ Welcome
Don't know who told you to tell others...
Decide who you shall follow, serve
God or man.

Matt 6:
[24] No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

[25] Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?

God said thou shalt Murder.
God did not forbid killing.

Sin is against God.
God forgives Sin, according to His Order and Way.
Men trespass against men.
Men forgive trespasses, and so also does God, "IF" we do.

Glory to God,
Taken

I wonder why you think eating meat is selfish. @CG70

that link is absolutely ludicrous.

i'm not in any way trying to talk you out of a vegetarian diet, which is commendable IMO. the original creation was this way, and the ressurection will also be.
but consider Pascha.
what is the law of Pascha? how is it kept? everyone eats a lamb. all of it. none can be left - and its blood is daubed on the doorway with hyssop.

Jesus never sinned in any way, and disobeying the commandment to keep the feast would be sin. therefore He ate lamb at seder, every year, until He gave Himself, The Lamb, and the feast was fulfilled.

so you mustn't judge others and certainly not find yourself in blasphemy over this.

I thought the human body needed protein. Jesus ate meat so it's no problem to me to follow his example. Why did you choose to be vegetarian?

I meant that it is easy to get your proteins from a vegetarian diet. :D Perhaps Jesus did. Perhaps those parts are forgery. All i am saying it is far riskier to kill innocent beings than not to kill them. :)

I became vegetarian when i met this spiritual contact.

I am no expert in the Bible. But i know this spiritual contact well. He/she is the highest i guess. God, Holy Spirit, Love.

Animals want to live to. To kill them goes against their free will.
That's bit sentimental. Animals do not have free will, they are ruled over by mankind. Who taught you that they did?
Genesis 1:26
Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.”

May I ask what you mean by 'spiritual contact'? What sort of spiritual contact it's important to only listen to the right sort of spiritual contacts - those filled with the Holy Spirit - all others are not from God.

Hey there everyone. Recently i was told i should tell others to not eat meat.
Have you been listening to the likes of scoundrel Bill Gates or the fear-mongerer Greta Thunberg? Both of them should be prosecute for fraud.

God says that you are free to eat whatever you wish. And Christ said that it not what goes into the belly that pollutes a man but what comes out of his heart. So enjoy your veggie burgers and let each one decide what is best for them.

May I ask what you men by 'spiritual contact'?
No doubt a lying spirit. There are examples of lying spirits in Scripture. But they have recently increased exponentially on earth.

Animals do not have free will,

I take it you've never had a pet, huh??
Never pay much attention to any life that's not human?

Animals are living souls. If you think they have no will then you are saying that about people, too, who are also animals ((Ecclesiastes 3:18))

Vegetarianism isn't required of us in this life, but it's honorable, especially when done for the Lord. We should not be judging him for it any more than he should judge you for your cheeseburger.

Mankind was given authority by God to rule over all created livestock an wild animals etc. People are just too sentimental about animals today. it's a sign of weakness. And yes I have had some lovely pets, both cats and dogs and have loved them and cared for them and missed them when the
