Understood, but then we do have the responsibility to defend ourselves from hateful neighbors who desire to murder. Certainly, with the rampant crime we see now, so many people don't take that responsibility seriously. We do have the 2nd Amendment.

As the father and grandfather, I also defend my family. I see that as a responsibility to take seriously - more so because it takes about 15 minutes for law enforcement to arrive at my house.
