We really need to examine ourselves who/what we are putting our trust and hopes in these days. Are we in the spirit, or are we getting all stirred up in the flesh? When I read your post, a thought came to mind that it's like the Republican Party is choosing Barabbas over someone less imposing. Then the next day this came into my in-box:

I'm MAGA and I'm not being used by anyone.
I believe in make america great again. I don't donate, I don't go to campaigns or rallies.
I simply believe that this country could be better than it is at present.
And people that believe in MAGA, the regular everyday majority of people, feel the same way.
That's not to say there aren't infiltrators into our "cult" and try to shed a bad light on who we are. There out there for sure.
They like to make us look like we're dangerous and crazy. Because they want to pull people away or prevent people from believing the same cause.
It's political warfare and propaganda. But we're used to it.

I don't consider there is anything wrong with simply having a "political opinion", but what we are seeing surrounding D.T. seems to go way beyond that. Many are being caught up in something that is not of God's Spirit. When believers are going at each other's throats over this, that is not a good sign either. Do you support Biden? And what of his gross godless agenda of sexual immorality? Or tolerate his sins.
There are very good reasons to keep church and state separated. Did/does Jesus FORCE people to believe in Him and behave well? I think as followers of HIM, we need to be more certain about where our true citizenship lies.....can't serve two masters.

So we're not the ones attacking, we are the ones defending.
And the one's attacking, they are anything but peaceful.
I know a lot of people can't see this, but we are in the middle of spiritual warfare.
You have one side pushing abortion as a normal contraceptive, modifying peoples bodies to match their gender ideology.
teaching racism through CSR in the classrooms. demanding the government be in control of everything you think and do.
The party of death and destruction.
Then you have the otherside that sees abortion as a medical necessity when there are no other options, honoring their body with respect,
teaching that we are one nation under God and that all people should be treated equal regardless of color, nationality, gender..
And giving the Governing of the People back to the People and running it by the People of whom is governed.
Sonald Trump is the only one that stands for what WE believe. It's not that we believe what HE believes.
They got that backwards. We put him in, because he stands with Us, not above us.
And so the war commences between the them and the us.
And both sides want the other side to join their side.
But we can't cross that line and become a nation like sodom and gomorrah. It goes against our morals, our principles, our beliefs and our faith.
If they want to repent and join us, the door is always open.

No I wouldn't support Biden, no more than I agree with our current Prime Minister here in Canada. And I know our respective countries are spiralling down, and it's hard to see. But the issue I'm bringing up is not politics, it's a matter of the heart....what/who are we hoping and trusting in? God is on the throne regardless of politics. Look at the world the early church was living in, and they weren't getting their knickers in a knot, but implacably carrying on with the gospel. People (believers) are getting too stirred up in the flesh over outward circumstances.
Well as Jesus and the early church knew the only real answer to all these ills is the gospel. It's the CHURCH in general which is at fault and has lost traction and this is the REASON we are seeing evil having a hay-day.
I have repented.............of letting my flesh get the better of me and speaking evil of dignities. It is the LORD who raises and lowers kings and kingdoms. And regardless of whether we have "good" leaders or "bad", we must not lose sight of Who is over them. They are ultimately HIS ministers who don't bear the sword for nothing. God judges and He disciplines and our attitude should be that we will humble ourselves under His mighty hand, in better times or worse. This world is all about good and evil battling it out....we need to rise above this world. We can have our political opinions and vote our best vote I believe, but don't let our hearts be entangled up with it all. That is a snare that brings judgment in itself.
Just to add, that God gave Israel the flesh and blood King that she craved and it didn't turn out the way she hoped. Written for our admonition.

MAGA believes in the separation of church and state according to the Constitution of the United states.
This country is founded on religious freedom and no government should dictate which religion this nation should make it's law.
The government cannot dictate Catholicism or Muslim or Christian or Budhist as it's national religion.
It's againstthe Constitution to do so.
But bringing bibles or torahs or korans to read during recess or breaks on public grounds is not against the Constitution.
But if the curriculum of the classroom is to teach a particular religion that is against the Constitution.
That's why we have churches.
Maga believes in the Constitution and the Bill of Rights for every citizen of the United States.
We believe in legal immigration, and a legal pathway to citizenship.
We believe in commonsense, and the golden rule.

So, The government isn't our church. It's worldly and secular and caters to the carnal needs of mankind.
It would be nice if there were more people of God running for office, but politics is dirty and criminal even.
The only way to control the government is to try to choose the best candidate that is as close to the carnal principles that a Godly people believe in.
We ned to pray for God's guidence.
But God is where we go for spiritual needs, not a worldly government.
So there is your separation of church and state.
We the People need to raise up more godly people, so we can choose more godly people to serve us in the worldly government.
If I could vote for Jesus to be President of the United States ... The pharisees and saducees would be after us with pitchforks.

Ok but in the United States we the People as one nation under God, We are the power that God has given us in the Constitution to choose who will serve us and not rule over us. We don't have rulers here,we have servants.
But we don't treat them like servants, they treat us like slaves.
So MAGA wants to turn that back around and take the power from the Government and return it to the people, where God put it through our Constitution.

We're not pushing for a civil war. The left is trying to push us and have been for the last 6 years.
But we are holding the line and not falling for their false narratives which are only created to ire and cause divisions.
We want peace, we want justice, we want accountability and we want truth.

I will vote for Trump if he is still free to serve. Unfortunately, I see this New World Order that has really been controlling this puppet in the White House and has it's tentacles around the globe. We were given a dress rehearsal with Covid 19 lockdowns, mask wearing, social distancing, business closures ... and many got in line for the jab! Not me.
I also believe in Romans 13:1, so God allowed them to steal the election ... and another if He is planning on returning soon!
It is somewhat more cataclysmic than in the Old Testament; when the Israelite's sin was great and God would gather other nations to go in and defeat, enslave and punish them. We are being punished, because the moral fiber of this nation has sunk into a pit of vomit.
But it is more than just a temporal punishment, the Great Tribulation is on the horizon. We are at the precipice in history, when good and evil will soon separate and God will usher in a new age, the Millennial Kingdom.
Have we learned anything? It is getting worse. Sin has spread, immorality has been accepted and as a whole, we have become callous to it all.
This is the last generation (that began in 1948) that "will see all things things come to pass" ( a reference to Matthew 24). 1948 + 80 = 2028 ??
This election _ if there is one _ will likely bring chaos, anarchy and a real insurrection - when they once again steal the election.
Drastic measures beyond voter fraud will be used.
I heard of a recent documentary out where Obama was warning us of the possibility of our nation/ banking systems/ power grid being hacked. Bank accounts wiped out and since the power is off, everything stops and no records can be accessed. Maybe Obama is telling us something truthful for a change, only it won't be hackers, it will likely be our own government doing it. We have been speculating about another scenario that could happen especially if it looked like Trump was a sure winner. They could subject us to an EMP strike, blaming the Russians before any votes could be cast, plummeting us into darkness. However, that would impede their resolve to come in and IMPLEMENT THEIR GREAT RESET. All electronics would be fried, non- functional and it would take too long to fix the problem. So the hack scenario would be more manageable for them. They seem to want to collapse the nation, but want to be able to quickly solve the problem - shortly after ya'll are bankrupt, starving and homes have been foreclosed. MARTIAL LAW will take effect and as some have already written about, we are already a police state. FBI, DOJ and SCOTUS have been corrupted - we have seen it. The media is part of the manipulative mind meld for all to succumb to. They are all on board with this NWO.They will come in with the solution to fix to world - only you will have to relinquish all your personal property to the elites, who meet behind closed doors, you know, the WEF and UN. They signed an agreement in 2019 - prior to the plandemic. And of course, all nations will relinquish their sovereignty as well. That is their goal, to get rid of personal property and control all you ignorant peasants/ slaves (which we will become) - because we are too stupid to control our own lives - they think.
Ah, the solution to world peace and poverty will be realized! There will be nothing to fight about, no one will own anything ... equality for all, Utopia! And they can just wipe out all debts and reset.
This is why they don't care about open borders and escalating debt, because big change is coming, a completely controlled socialized world. The EU just came out with a statement that, "no borders is a solution!" More proof.
Fear not, their reign will be short lived. Jesus will return and really fix things.

I was thinking politics is a carnal weapon. And the best spiritual weapon of all, is the gospel, the sword of the Spirit, God's word. Like I said political opinions is one thing.......but oh, please let us guard our hearts! Choose we this day who we will serve, and have our hopes above.
