I haven't read the article, but I think this is obvious. I stopped with the broadcast TV 10 years ago, and I wouldn't go back for the world!

It's not just the news, it's most everything else too, I think!

Yes even the commercials...did you know they hire psychologists and neurologists to study what sounds, colors, and gender to use in them? The packaging is not a random choice...it was thoroughly studied before the company made a decision.

Yes, the S word repeated in that OP article gets a bit tiring after awhile. I get why the author may have employed that however, after awhile it is like reading a kid who can't speak without employing expletives.

I know. And the subconscious records absolutely everything we hear or see. And it isn't able to discriminate between fact or fiction viewing. But what happens then is all that we see or hear also evokes an emotional response. That too is recorded and it deposits in our psyche and physicality.
And this pertains to life itself, not simply entertainment that the subconscious records from.

I knew a massage therapist that was working on a lady client one day when she started to work on the woman's thigh. She'd hit a knot in the muscle, called an adhesion in massage therapy terms. As she worked to release the knot and tension the lady client began to cry.
That knot ended up being where her emotions and memories were deposited from when she was a child. She related the trauma to the therapist as the therapist worked the muscle to release its pain.
It doesn't all get resolved in one session but this client was a regular. After a couple of more sessions the lady didn't cry again when that area was massaged. As the pain was released in the tissue, the tissues released from their hyper-contracted state, the woman's emotions and pain in recollected memories also subsided.

Gives one a better perspective on the old axiom, you are what you eat, to include, you are what you hear and see.

One would have thought that by now every Christian would have turned off every one of the mainstream networks, including FOX News. It does not matter which acronym they use. Their news is garbage. This also applied to all Canadian networks.

Yes they do....and remember when tele-evangelist started showing up? TBN was the first Christian network....on Sundays the 3 network's(ABC, CBS, NBC) would air a church service until Christian Networks came along...
I loved watching TBN until it became a money scheme....and the TV Evangelist became more focused on selling their books and audio tapes more than preaching/teaching the gospel.
Oh and I also watched The 700 Club until Pat Robertson decided to run for president and made it political.

Shutting off the TVs and only listening to praise and worship!

This happened to me, see if you notice. I don't turn the TV on in the mornings to watch AM shows, or news or anything. The house seems more quiet and peaceful.
But if I turn the TV on after I first wake up, the atmosphere almost crackles with tension. That blanket of quiet when it isn't on, and it is not the volume factor of the TV either, is gone.

Interesting writer, although based on my sons age range and views, the tide is turning with regards to what the younger generations will watch. TV as such is losing its hold.
There will always be manipulation within any form of media, look how social media has come to impact the thought process over the pass decades. Before TV it was Radio, newspapers. Do you remember the radio broadcast ‘ war of the worlds ‘ in the USA and how everyone was taken in by it all. Who knows how that response influenced those behind the scenes and made them realise they had a captive audience.

For example.....when the people who run the USA Media, who are nearly all Globalists, who are nearly all Christ Rejecting Secularists want more money for their network, they find some obscure "event" in the USA.... and they create a 24/7 programming CRISIS that they sell you, and they hook you into their false OPERA, and before you know it, you are so upset you are trying to burn down your city.

That just happened recently in the USA., again.

A wise Teacher said......Your TV is a Hell Box, set on fire by the Devil, and all in High Definition Wide Screen with surround sound.

You can't even flip through channels and stay mentally clean, as every 10th commercial is someone half dressed, or in bed together, or selling you a bra, or showing you partial nudity.
So, the commercials are soft porn, and most the TV shows are selling you the idea of feeling accepting of Homosexuality or similar, or worse.

I suspect you're some what young and this sort of thing is news to you and your piers. manipulation of public views using the news has been gong on in the US of A since the Jefferson vs Adams political struggles. not new information, but most here have been raised on TV computers and cell phones and have a propensity to believe and trust what they see and hear from them. of which is what those in media work for. hence they have the upper hand when power wants to deal with the public.

they used to like to say the camera doesn't lie, but the one holding the camera does and the one telling you what you are seeing does. another method is they will quote 5 seconds of a presidential speech and then spend an hour or two telling what you should know and think of it. sitcoms since the 60's have been geared to getting the public to accept their way of thinking. on and on and on. the destruction of the family unit as understood in the 50's and 60's has been trashed. for example the father is always the idiot in tv shows and advertising.

That's the big difference I see in more recent years. Darkness and lies have become mainstream overwhelmingly so.
