@JohnDB ,just to let you know that the reaction to the Pfizer vaccine seems to vary. Some of my work colleagues have had no reaction at all, some have had an initial headache. While some have had a headache, followed by breathing problems a few hours after the jab, which passes, and they felt completely drained for 24hours. One of the managers was off sick today, he had the jab on Wednesday.
They don’t have the booster jab for 21days x
This is only for your info as I know you are looking to have the jab.
Anyone who has a severe allergy reaction is being advised not to have the jab, also if someone is on warfarin it can effect your reading. My dad is on warfarin, so I will see how they approach that ( he is over 80 so will be in the next group of people being offered it )

Hi Amadeus
I believe the reason for the ‘no ‘ is the fact that the Pfizer vaccine works in a new and different way to others.
Not sure about the other one from the USA, I have been keeping an eye on the Oxford one, which they do not appear to be rushing. It’s also only 3:00, compared with 28:00 and 25:00 with the other two. We don’t have to pay for them here, but it shows that one is not about making a profit. Rita
After this conversation which I spoke to my wife about she called her Allergy Specialist doctor for advice with regard to the vaccines. Just minutes ago today the doctor called back advising strongly against my wife taking, the Pfizer, the first one being offered in Oklahoma because her extreme sensitivity and history of allergic reactions to too many things. My wife has a list as long as her arm of medications and other things to which is definitely allergic. The doctor advised that she does not know enough about the next one that will be available to give advice yet. She will have a recommendation for us regarding any other vaccines before they are offered.

Yeah...I've been talking to those who were in the clinical trials of these Vaccines...
Some got saline and felt nothing both times...the others felt like a truck ran over them. They knew by the way they felt that they had gotten a vaccine. But Tylenol and a day later they were back to normal.

So I'm preparing for a few days of truck duty when my turn comes...

It looks like I'll be getting the Moderna's mRNA vaccine because it's what will be available...at least that's in the round my wife will get hers.

They are passing through 10,000 Pfizer vaccine this week. Moderna's should be here either next week or shortly thereafter.

We are waiting patiently...I'm not above line jumping. (I guess I'm not that patient)

But over 40% in this town are going to refuse the vaccine. Too political party loyal to see their own good.

Some of the people who felt nothing at work were getting the actual vaccine, so you may get no side effects x

Ummmm
You know that it's out right now...not going to be in. They screwed up the numbers. They've finished the stage three trials but have to do them again because of administrative failures.

I haven’t heard about it being released yet, only that it’s near. Pretty sure it would be on our news if it was being issued and offered as an alternative.
