Let me ask a question @Debp and @Armour of God - do you agree that there is a propaganda war on all levels of media and social media. Do you agree that there are many people who want you to watch their videos or read what they have written in order to gain prestige for themselves , make money, or promote a political leading , so they emphasise something in the title to draw you in ?
Also do you instantly trust what is being relayed or said , without question. ?
You see I don’t now, I use to but a few years back I started to see that there was so much manipulation in what is conveyed and that there were hidden agendas behind so many things that were posted on media outlets and you tube. Also when you talk to people often as not they take one part of a story and that directs their whole attitude towards a situation.

I actually don’t want this to be an issue between us, It’s just something that hits something deep within me at times. I guess I do care about what people think about my country, it’s just conveyed on here as being such an awful place to live.

Firstly I agree that social media was conveying the video, I am only on Facebook and I saw it there, at the same time it was being conveyed in the news. On this , yes social media can be useful. However later on it was equally relaying speculation over the injuries. Last week in the attack of Harry , they conveyed and identified the wrong police officer to the point that she had to leave her home. So there are positives and negatives with social media.
Immigration is a big issue- but there are many that come through that are not bad citizens, who go on to work in our health service, care homes and contribute to society. We also have many who have been displaced because of war. So not all immigrants are here to create problems.
So there are also two sides as well.
I do not listen to you tube videos and yet I am aware of what is going on within the group of illegal immigrants
So I guess you are saying that you don’t believe that there is manipulation and propaganda on you tube and other social media. By the way I wasn’t actually saying that it’s all propaganda- I was asking if you check the videos out before you post to evaluate if they are conveying the information in context of what actually happens.

There are others who genuinely have concerns and want something done, but recognise that not every immigrant is a problem - that’s where I am and it’s common sense to weigh people individually. They should be vetted - totally agree, personally I think illegal immigrant should be detained in detention facilities and not housed within the communities.

Here in USA, Trump tapped into immigration and found support because yes, our people are very worried about what is happening. But over there, the elites who run the government, want to replace their religion, culture and people, they call that progress.

Are you talking about the uprising in Belfast ?
The ones who were going door to door asking people if they were born here, if they weren’t there doors were kicked in. There is a lot of history in NI - those young people were an organised mob.

Oh so you see it as a political view . That’s what I thought.
When I use the term far right I am viewing it from a cultural viewpoint, I grew up with groups that were extremists. It kind of stays in the head. So anyone who has extreme views is far right to me.

Agreed. Over here the free to air news is very left wing. Pay TV news like fox and sky are more right wing. But I don't even watch the news much, only once or twice a week, I hear it on the radio at work anyway.
I don't trust what they say all the time, if I'm curious I'll confirm it with other sources.

Immigration is a big issue- but there are many that come through that are not bad citizens, who go on to work in our health service, care homes and contribute to society. We also have many who have been displaced because of war. So not all immigrants are here to create problems.

I'm not saying that all immigrants are here to cause problems. But the boat migrants coming over the English Channel are unvetted and a lot of them have proved to be very dangerous. Committing vicious crimes and s. crimes.

They throw their documents and phones away before boarding the boats because they don't want to be identified. So that alone seems like they are hiding something.

And regular citizens who see the dangers and speak up are called far right....when actually they are just right.
