Obviously you don't have the first clue about depleted uranium. It's lead. Lead is a shielding agent against radioactivity. It's an isotope of lead that has much much less radioactivity than the radon gas naturally occurring in most of Ukraine...especially the farming areas.
And if you actually had any knowledge whatsoever about the world other than the price of snack foods you might actually know this.
Ukraine has the world's largest uranium mine in the world that has been supplying fuel rods for nuclear reactors in Russia and Europe. Which is another reason they are covered in radon gas. The depleted uranium? It's inconsequential footprint isnt going to be protective against the radiation naturally there. It's yet another talking point by Russian authorities.
Depleted uranium does have a great use of armor piercing....no different than pure copper but at a fraction of the cost.

The metal is used in containers, radioactive shielding and counterweights in jets. It's everywhere and been everywhere in normal society for decades. Now that it's used in bullets for armor piercing rounds its somehow become toxic?
