you have a point in what you are saying
let us say that i truly did have some sort of mental disorder that made things up such as the abuse.
how would you treat such a family member?
or what if i was evil and hateful and lying? how would you treat me?
if a family member has the issues im accused of and you claimed ot be christian would yout reat them with condemnation and like the butt of jokes?
what of their sins?
How would I treat such a family member? While I do have a flesh and blood family, I'm dead to them; but you might recall that I protected and cared for someone in their distress. I remained by their side until they left this world. They suffered from DID like we do (they were a survivor) and later on, dementia. Dementia is an organic affliction and there were times when they mistook me for someone else. What did I do?
I bore it in silence because they didn't know what they were doing, lily. This is precisely what the Lord commanded me to do: love them just like He loves them. Jesus Christ is more merciful than men and women in this flesh imagine Him to be. The scripture tells us that God will not turn His face away from the afflicted and neither should we. I know this to be trustworthy and true from personal experience.
What if you were evil and a liar? I wouldn't treat you any differently than anyone else. I don't treat my siblings of flesh and blood with contempt... I honor their wishes instead.
The individual whom the Lord had me serve was condemned by their family of believers, lily (they were Christians). They were accused of horrific things, and they cast them out. They turned a blind eye and deaf ear to their distress, but the Lord Himself inclined His ear toward them. Think about that.
