I think this is headed for another lawsuit that makes it to the Supreme Court. You can’t just discriminate for any reason you wish
Something needs to be done.
We have men 8nsizting on their Trans right to compete with and against actual women in sports.

This happens in public government funded schools and on the professional circuit.

Years ago a man was even allowed to compete in MMA fighting against women. That was short lived.

This also allows for a breach of women's personal privacy and safety in locker rooms and the showers.

You'll notice though that you don't see mentally afflicted women who claim to be men pushing for the same access in pro sports. Or even that often in public school athletics.

So this latest matter, public accommodations, is just another hurdle but certainly is less crucial.

The so called alphabet community will take a mile now that SCOTUS gave them an inch with the state marriage ruling.
Personally, I don't have an issue with their being granted a civil marriage state contract. That's Caesars domain.

Every Christian knows they are not nor ever shall be married in the eyes of God.

Rather that butting our heads against that 14th amendment ruling, we may wish to pursue our right to be married according to the dictates of God.
Because as it stands now, without that civil union state marriage license Christian wedded couples are not able to avail themselves of the rights and privileges afforded the state of marriage.

We should be able to segregate ourselves as people of faith so to enter into marriage without entering into a state contract. Especially so that we are not aligned with the abominable union afforded homosexuals by the state. When that Union is for identity by the tenets of our faith.

And yet, that 14th amendment and the first should allow us to be married according to the covenant of God.

And just as a pastor or some authorized state vested person who today performs a marriage and signs that state license accordingly, so too should that apply for a religious certificate of marriage. Separate and apart from that which validates the sins of homosexuals.

I also don't have a problem with public businesses serving homosexuals and trans afflicted.

Imagine the wave if that became a right for all people in business who are religious.

Orthodox Jews refuse to service women clad in attire they object to. Homosexuals would have a payback field day. Sharia fueled Muslims too. Those type harass non-Muslim women today. (Dearfield Michigan=little Saudi Arabia USA,)

So you prefer to use racism as a means to enforce perceived racism? Exactly what everything you seem to stand for means.

You were against a Coach walking away from everyone to pray alone ...
you mean the coach that went to the 50 yard line and made a spectacle of himself?
Stay away from the myth that is the north.

From my living there for four years ......The Northeast is the most racist location in the entire country. Jackie Robinson was forced to stay on the team bus, driven to the back of the hotel and taken in the back door of hotels in New York City, Boston and Baltimore ...
and how was he treated in the south?
Don't try to con everyone into believing the north was holier than thou during and after the war.
did you even read what I posted? wait....what a silly question

No one cares how you choose to get married or by who. That is entirely your choice, but you don't get to deny that others are not married jut because you choose to hate them.

After all, Democrats are the mirror of the George Wallace Democrats and the KKK .....Just moved out of the south that's all .....

Why would you put a picture of a true racist on your reply? She is the epitamy of the lie ......Harvard Grad .....Took a degree that Football and Basketball players take to stay in school. What a waste of space for a meaningless piece of paper. I wondder whose place she took that truely deserved the spot?

If Joy Reid had the grades to get into Harvard without liberal racism being her banner. We wouldn't waste the time for you liberals to support her. Let's take a look at the single biggest lie you guys support. ......Pocohantas had to create a fiction of Indian roots because her cheekbones were high .......She took the spot of a true Indian so you guys could live the lie ......Still lies to this day ....

Participation trophies for undeserving Democrats, incapable of obtaining the space due to experience and capability.....nothing more ...

I have no issue with transgenderism or gay marriage. Everyone has to right to live how they wish, so long as other's rights aren't abused in the process.
What I strongly object to is the demands from gay activists for Christians, and in particular Christian churches, to deny their own religious convictions in order to affirm lifestyles and permit practitioners of those lifestyles to become members of and take positions of authority and leadership in the church contrary to biblical and church teachings.
And I object even more strongly at churches who have compromised and allowed themselves to be intimidated and threatened and have caved in to those demands, be it from activists themselves, or government agencies threatening legal action.

Why didn't she deserve the spot?
She had the grades, the test scores, the commitment, the drive and determination.

Do you have any reason aside from the color of her skin that for saying she didn't deserve the spot?

You just claimed that she didn't make the grade until Affirmative Action took her there ....Either you can't remember the trash you post or don't understand Liberal contradiction ....
Affirmative Action says she was not on the top of the list to get in .....So someone with better grades had to be pushed out to achieve a spot for her ......Or do you not understand the racism of Affirmative Action? The reason the Supreme Court kicked the racism of Affirmative Action to the curb ....Someone, better qualified, had to pay for her to get the spot. It's apparent you don't understand the concept .....Otherwise, there is no Supreme Court lawsuit or decision. At Harvard, far more better qualified Oriental Students were being denied spots due to racism .....

By your question ......it's logical you don't understand .....Thank you for confirming what I knew all along ....

Which is it?

He’s already been exposed for lying about a book that was banned. He plays fast and loose with facts and seems to think people will forget what he previously posted.

Bull she had the grades.

"I just happened to be really nerdy and have really good grades and good SAT scores"

I know it must shock to you to find out that a black woman actually qualified to go to Harvard.

Affirmative Action says she was not on the top of the list to get in .....So someone with better grades had to be pushed out to achieve a spot for her ......Or do you not understand the racism of Affirmative Action?
Ms Reid reportedly graduated high school with a 4.0 GPA. So who exactly has higher grades than she did.
The reason the Supreme Court kicked the racism of Affirmative Action to the curb ....Someone, better qualified,
How were they better qualified?

Never said that ......you did.

There were other people in line ahead of her that were denied entry, soley because she is black. You apprently have a problem with race ......Tell us about it.

They were much better qualified. She got a participation trophy ....

The US Supreme Court recently decided .......it's racist ...Not in the Constitution ..

US supreme court strikes blow against LGBTQ+ rights with Colorado ruling

June 30, 2023

Web designer backed by Christian group argued making websites for same-sex couples would violate her first amendment rights

In his majority opinion, Gorsuch said that the first amendment prohibited Colorado from “forcing a website designer to create expressive designs speaking messages with which the designer disagrees”. Backed by the other five rightwing justices who now control the court, he said the constitution protected an individual’s right to free speech “regardless of whether the government considers his speech sensible and well intentioned or deeply misguided”.

The ruling prompted an excoriating dissent from the three liberal justices. Written by Sonia Sotomayor and joined by Elena Kagan and Ketanji Brown Jackson, the dissent noted that the decision was the first time in supreme court history that a business open to the public had been granted a constitutional right to refuse to serve people from a protected group.
The old marriage cake ploy. No one is walking into the website asking for a web to be made for them.

The spirit of whoredom is not about defending rights, but about attacking all others. It's a spiritual war of dominion.

As with Sodom, they will not stop until everyone is made to do it. And no, they still won't be happy.

yes the equal protection of the law.
And Title II of the civil rights act concerns public accommodations: "All persons shall be entitled to the full and equal enjoyment of the goods, services, facilities, privileges, advantages, and accommodations of any place of public accommodation, as defined in this section, without discrimination."

This is why segregation WAS illegal.
Segregation was sinful, never illegal, until activists intruded into private businesses with their self-righteousness.

They can still deny services to naked people. It was just a stepping stone for telling people how to conduct their business.

There's a blacks-only haircut joint near my neighborhood. They of course are too cowardly to advertise it, and I just go elsewhere.

Private businesses in public are not public services all people are entitled to. When they are were mixed by law, is when American ceased to be a free nation of people.

Now we have a whole party of open fascists and marxists, that have nothing to do with American freedom and individual liberty.

I’ve reviewed all my posts and I never said the book was pornography so unless you can provide a post that I somehow missed I have to conclude that this was just another lie and false accusation from you, @TinMan

Now that is a different situation to weddings, as cutting someone's hair does not conflict with a conservative Christian's values, so it can be classed as discrimination.
One could argue that creating hairstyles was a creative expression like creating a website. I don’t agree but I could see the argument being used
