Most countries see an action like this as an act of war against them.

They may have some of their dope dealing murderous gangs try to retaliate here in the US so we may see some action against us over this yet.

Ukraine needed the right to Vote in it's east borders but who was it that rejected that right ?

Tritium is not exactly easy and simple to make and refine. It's labor intensive and takes lots of time to collect in sufficient quantities to make an H-bomb work.

The technology isn't new....but it is a matter of time, resources, and money to produce.
And Russia has been short on all three things for a long time.

Tritium isn't something subject to a bunch of IOU's to make. You have to actually have it. And again, it's subject to corruption very easily. It has a short half-life for a REASON. And unless it's viable....no fusion bomb.

That being said....Russia can have possibly a dozen functional warheads....but not thousands or even hundreds. I seriously doubt they could have enough for any reasonable attack on us. (Unless an EMP is their goal....and even then it's unlikely they could succeed with our air defenses)

China is a different story.

They might have enough Tritium to make a concerted effort to attack the USA successfully. Certainly enough for an EMP that would leave us reeling for months.

In order to successfully attack the USA it's about having sufficient missiles to overwhelm our air defenses. One or two rogue missile launches are insufficient.
