Hitler must have been less of a challenge for Jesus to love that the reformers or popes..

after all Hitler never claimed to be any ones Christian pastor AS THE REFORMERS AND POES DID

YET JESUS THE JEWISH God of all and over all LOVES ALL. even me. and since he loves even me

your no problem at all for Jesus to love .

One thing that might be good advice is that you pay strict attention to the definition of love and it's application. For instance if you look a little closer you will find that love of God is used in a moral sense(love thy neighbour) and in an intimate sense(he loves his own).

Yet both these applications can be and is used, in both a moral and intimate sense when it comes to his and our love to him. :)

EG: Few examples

Mar 12:30 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.
Mar 12:31 And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.

1Co 16:22 If any man love not the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be Anathema Maranatha.

Mat 5:44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;
