2 God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? - Romans 6:2.
How can God take away something that you are already dead to. I'm not saying that Christian's don't sin or have struggles, but when he died you died, the old man is dead and it was the old man that caused your trouble. It was never your body, it was never your mind (except for allowing it), it was the old man and the old man is dead now. Crucified with Christ on Calvary and now the only problem in life a believer will ever have is; they don't know it. Aww so if they don't know it it is a mind problem now for believers. Did you get that, it is your mind now that is causing you the same trouble you had when you were not a believer. It is the mind of the believer now that will be your trouble maker.
We have numerous scriptures that talk about being complete in spirit, and one in spirit with the Lord, and being a finished product in Christ. But the rest of your bible is going to deal with your mind. Soul and spirit divided, you must divide soul and spirit to be able to understand your bible. You have to see what is complete, and what is being completed and scriptures are very clear, it is not hard to divide soul and spirit but you have to learn how to do it.
So you see he died for sin once and for all, when I say "God take this from me" what am I saying? I'm saying the cross didn't work and I need you to do something else. What is it that causes so many to struggle all their days practically? They don't know what happened to them at the cross. We look for another answer, first; because alot of the time a believer may have never heard the cross preached as their death. That will be trouble because all they will ever know is self effort, so they might as well be living under law because they have nothing to live for, you can usally spot them because they look dead, no life. The life that is in you is dormant, Christ needs your mind to live. You need to know something for Christ to live simply as your creation, coming out of you as you, as life.
