40 He said to his disciples, “Why are you so afraid? Do you still have no faith?” (Mark 4:40)
We may chide the disciples for their lack of faith, but at least they had faith to believe that Jesus could do something about the storm.
I don’t disagree, but I was thinking about Jesus in the moment rather than about the disciples.

In another thread people were discussing whether or not Jesus was ever afraid. There is no verse which plainly says “Jesus was afraid.”
Here we have a verse which says plainly that Jesus was asleep.
The question: Did Jesus dream when he slept?
“Rest easy, the answer is yes. Everybody dreams.”

It isn’t stated explicitly in scripture that Jesus dreamed when he slept but, if it’s true that “everybody dreams”, then it is inferred in scripture that Jesus dreamed when he slept.
That raises other questions about the consciousness of Jesus but exploring those questions - which we may go on to do - wasn’t the original intent of the thread.
