Then when near collapse forces the church to reform itself satanism. Satanism is a reaction religion, not something that can stand on its own. So when you say that it is easier for people to believe in Satan, I think you are mistaken. To arrive at satanism they have to believe in god first, and then reject him as either incompetent or evil.
