Westboro Baptist Cult

One of the many problems modern day Christians face are the evil cult of the Westboro Baptist church. It's sad to say we have to consider them a fellow preacher of the Gospel, except their twisted version is incomparable to the truthful version and the real evident version of God.
How do I know this? Its right in front of our faces. God said "Thou shalt not judge as you will be judged yourself, and by what measure you judge you shall be judged by that measure." (paraphrasing)
They march around peaceful streets, shouting and chanting words of evil and judging every onlooker that passes by and taunting fellow citizens. They interpret the bible completely wrong and do not see it for what it really is. Which is very sad.
The whole of the bible means Love. Love thy neighbour as you love yourself.
Not hate and division. Which these deluded people are preaching.
Let me make it very clear to all that God does not hate homosexuals, I strongly believe that, and I do not in any way see homosexuality as a sin. God loves all unconditionally but that does not rule out the fact that you still have to repent when you sin.
This shows god your love for him and your devotion. If we didn't repent our sins, god would not trust us and therefore we are not worthy of him. But he still loves us, after all, we are his creation.
Never be deceived by the satanic lies that the westboro Baptist cult say. Jesus warned us of many things in the bible, he foretold us many false prophets and liars like this cult that proclaims they are the truth and insultingly use Jesus's words against people, what an insult to Christ. They are an insult to Christianity and ultimately an insult to humanity.
I feel sorry for these people, every human being deserves better to be brainwashed by these lies they preach. A disgusting insult to Christ's life story and to the message he gives to people.
Homosexuality is one thing, but love is another. If a man loves a man, then that is wonderful. The same way it is for a man and a woman.
Love is beautiful. Nobody can take that away and god promotes love above all things.
He desires our love but we don't give back, the westboro Baptist church are deceived beyond the devil, to use the words of Christ in the name of evil itself deeply upsets me and is the greatest of insults. I pray for these people, not for their well being, or their cult but to be enlightened and saved by the grace of the Lord. Because even these people are defeated by Christ, he loves all, and he has the mercy to forgive the unthinkable in anyone. I think the Lord is a strong believer in a second chance, but his unconditional love goes beyond a second chance but infinite love.
They should be ashamed of their ridiculously hateful cult, and they should fall on their knees to Christ and repent whilst they still can for the vile sins they commit against God and against humanity.
Shame on them for their weakness in faith and their evil towards their neighbours.
I hope you all see these people for what they truly are, a terrible evil.

"Beloved, let us love one another. For love is of God and everyone who loves is born of God, and knows God, he who does not love, does not know God for God is love" (1Jn 4:7,8)

In that passage is a test by which we can discern true Christianity from all the counterfeits. If they have love, they are of God, if they hate, they are of Satan. It's a test that's simple and that we can depend on.

You speak of the truth and nothing but the truth. That bible passage pretty much sums up all of the hateful westboro Baptist cult.
The test is simple but the gates to heaven are narrow. God tests all and let he who enters the most worthy.

nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality,

Those who practice this sin will not inherit the kingdom of God fullstop.

In my walk with the Lord, I've developed a healthy fear of wishing upon others a judgment more stringent than I myself will face. Scripture says we are "scarcely saved" (1Peter 4:18) so that makes me wonder just how much room we have to recklessly speculate on the salvation of others while smugly assuming that ours is not in doubt. "Work out your salvation with fear and trembling" (Phil 2:12). There ought to rise up in us a terrible dread of facing a holy God in judgment someday even if we possess the hope that judgment will pass over us because of the blood of Jesus Christ. That fear could best be described as the same fear the Israelites felt when walking between two walls of water in the midst of a mighty sea that had the power to drown them in mere moments if their protection desisted.

If we're thinking that we've got it made in the shade while homosexuals are all going to hell, we need to reconsider our posture.

Lev 18,20 condemns the act of homosexuality, and God destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah and the inhabitants, for this perverted sex act, and the name sodomy is given to this practice, named after Sodom. Anal intercourse/sodomy is a disease producing practice such as HIV AIDS Hep C, Colitis, Crohns disease, and high incidence of cancer to mention a few..The submissive "male" can expect to lose bowel control early in life, and it will necessary to wear diapers to handle this situation..sure sounds romantic doesn't it? The word "love" is never to be divorced from three additional words: "of the truth." Yes, real love is the love of the truth. However, and very sadly, many believers struggle with this because they really don't know the mind of God on issues. Paul, writing to the Corinthian church to tell them to cast out of fellowship the man that was sleeping with his stepmother wrote, "Should I be returning in 'love' or with a rod? I'm bringing a rod! Get that man out of your fellowship now!" They thought they were showing great love to this man by not rightly discerning his behavior as sin and casting him out of their midst. Why were they that way? Because they failed to add those three simple words..."of the truth," for love does not, and never will, stand by itself without that identifier. Christians may think they are showing love when in reality they are merely forwarding the agenda of a preconceived notion of charity.

Actually, it was the government that classified Westboro baptist as a hate group, not a liberal group. Unless you qualify all authority that place restrictions on groups that use the word 'God' in their title or mission statement as 'liberal'. In that case you would have to consider the Klan as just another Christian organization being mislabeled by liberals.

I am missing a lot from the Bible? You mean the one time Jesus got angry? Not to hard to miss that story - it is a favorite of all 'tough-guy' Christians. The rest of the time he was eating with sinners and preaching the sum of the Law, which is love.......seems to me that you are missing everything, but the money changers, dude.....

I think you need to spend some time reconciling your fatalism about the future of this world and your conflicting desire to fight against God's plan. Last time that happened in the Gospels, Jesus called Peter Satan and told him to get behind him. Here is an idea, why not start loving people as we circle the drain rather than fighting against God.

i think you misread my post. i said it's part of the liberal agenda to classify Christian groups as hate groups. but either way westboro are a bunch of haters.
