What do the scriptures say about Judgment Day?
What do the scriptures say about our resurrection?
What do people believe about Judgment Day?
Do they match?
How does Shoal play into Judgment Day?
Does Christ give people in Shoal a second chance?
Is it a day? Are we judged on the same day?
What happens to us after we die?
Are we conscious or unconscious?
Do our bodies come out of the ground or is it a spiritual thing?
How does all this play into the Rapture?

I have been schooled and studied Christianity in 5 countries and I can tell you that people in different countries believe different things. This is an international forum so I am expecting different answers and I am not looking for a debate because I am not sure there is a right answer to these questions.

This is more of a discussion and a sharing of thoughts and beliefs.
So please tell me your thoughts.

Those are some loaded questions brother o_O And this would make a great OP!

I'll do a few:

Judgement day: Well, we know it's coming! And it will determine our eternal destines. And it will be the last as we knew it...?

Sheol: To me is the grave and I see us as unconscious and actually sleeping during the time in the grave.

Second Chances: Since I filter all spiritual things through scripture, I must say no, there is no second chances...God does not change and I do not see it in the bible. Heck, most people would be needing tons of chances!!

The Rapture: I've learned a long time ago to not get into the discussion to begin with, lol!

Does Christ give people in Shoal a second chance?

You can't be born again in Hell.

Is it a day? Are we judged on the same day?

There is a judgment day, exactly as there is a day to die... Hebrews 9:27

What happens to us after we die?

The Judgment.

Are we conscious or unconscious?

Your spirit is never unconscious.

I have been schooled and studied Christianity in 5 countries

And you still can't explain why Jesus keeps you saved.

The end of this system, where humans are ruled by humans and the devil and his angels pull the strings of this world, will come at a specific time. Before that day arrives, other things will happen that will indicate that this time is approaching. This destruction is God's judgment upon the rulers of this world, their total destruction, so that Jesus may begin to reign from heaven over all humanity. This battle is outlined in Daniel 2:44 and 7:13, 14.

Many human beings who did not sided with God's kingdom but were part of this world will be destroyed along with their rulers. All those who die in that war will not be resurrected. That will be their direct judgment from God.

After that war, there will be survivors on earth. They will be joined by those who will be resurrected: the righteous who had died in earlier times, and also many unrighteous people whom God deems worthy of receiving life again (Luke 20:35). Then begins the Millennium in which Christ reigns over the planet. Satan is in the abyss along with his rebel angels. They cannot harm living humans. But the Bible says that in the end he will be released to test the humans who live at that time. The Bible says that many will become evil, and surely many of those resurrected will not want to change to become better people. Then a second destruction will come from a new judgment that will be carried out (Rev. 20).

It is understood that if the devil tempts those people, including all those who were resurrected, it indicates that some unrighteous resurrected people may have changed their behavior and begun to serve God under that kingdom. Those resurrected people will not be judged for what they did before they died. The Bible says that death itself is the final condemnation of sins, and that upon death a person pays for what they had done before (Rom. 6:7,23). It is understood, then, that the second judgment at the end of the Millennium is completely different from the first at the beginning, when human governments were destroyed. It is based on people's actions after the Millennium begins.

Interesting story about the end times. Thanks.
How does it pertain to Sheol?
