It is truly inspiring to begin to understand the love and the mercy of the Lord. By the cross the Lord Jesus has paid the full price for our sins. We are forgiven!
But what about the consequences of our sins? Christ deals with this in Matt 5:7 where he states that mercy will be given to those who show mercy. Paul deals extensively with this. In Rom 9: 23 he says that we should be instruments of the mercy of God.
James says in James 2:12-13 that mercy will be given to those who has shown mercy. Mercy triumphs over judgement.
This is known as the Dogma of Counteracting Mercy. We are forgiven through faith and by the blood of Christ. For the permanent and non-permanent consequences of our willful and unwillful sins, for which we cannot do atonement, we need to have a missionary heart. Do all that is possible to help alleviate the tragic consequences of the sins of others.
Based on the the New Covenant, the Lord is giving you the opportunity to be His hands and feet on earth. Now, not only are your sins are forgiven, but the consequences thereof are also taken care of! Remember that this the works of faith and not you trying to be good enough to obtain your salvation through works.
Next time the enemy attacks you on the sins of your past, remember that you are give grace to show mercy to as many as possible (2 Cor 4:1).

Look at the consequence of Abraham's sin. God said Abraham was going to have a son and Abraham had a lack of faith and tried to help God out and had Ishmael. The consequence of that sin is in the Arab / Israel conflict which continues today. How do you pay for that sin which has taken so many lives? You can't.

The same way that Jesus paid for the sins of the world on the cross. " God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5:8

Abraham is in the Kingdom of heaven. Matthew 8:11, Matthew 22:32

You can never earn your way as Jesus already paved the way for us on the lonely Calvary Cross. Just accept Him and ask for His forgiveness and repent of your sins and ask Him to be the Christ and Savior of your life and get your name in the Book of Life forever.

We can never earn our way or pay the way. Jesus took care of It through death and resurrection from the grave. Also to get us right with God.

The wonderful thing about Heaven is that God refuses to remember our sins, they will be buried in the Sea of Forgetfullness, never to be remembered anymore.

yet, comes the Judgement, the Berma Seat of Jesus Christ. He will show us our lives, all that we could have been, but weren't. All that we could have done, but didn't. All the effects our lives had on others, for His Glory or not.

But the good news is that all of these things are shown as items put into a fire. The bad and ugly are burned away, gone, and the good -some we never even knew- they will be purified. All of Heaven will know us by these rewards. It will also be true, that while many are standing next to us before Lord , all that they may retain, will be the whiff of smoke.

So there we are, no sin or consequence. So there we are, with no hint of jealousy or regret or tears or smugness, for all will be given over for His Glory. Whether it be crowns or just love.
