Everything you hear and see from anyone who may talk about the bible in all the different topics; should be questioned, and challenged by you yourself.

You should question what anyone has to say about the bible, even seek out the answers. The answers are there in the bible. You do not need a person to tell you what to believe when you can go and read for yourself. My encouragement would always be reading it in context, asking who, what, when, where, why and how. Never to believe but to go seek out the answers by checking the bible.

Would that not be the most reasonable thing to do ?

What are your thoughts on this?

It is also good to consider others insights to; and to test all things by the spirit to see if it good or bad.

What about prayer and being led by the Holy Spirit of God?

Ephesians 4:11-13 KJV
11) And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;
12) For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:
13) Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:

Much love!

Should you question and challenge even what a teacher may teach you?

Yes my uploaded video messed up, took it down.

You gotta think for yourself either way it goes, and seek God and test all things by the spirit and see what is good and bad.

What about prayer and being led by the Holy Spirit of God?

Yes would agree.

One of the biggest things my teacher ever taught me was to question and challenge everything by testing what the Bible says itself.

Now for me haven’t been through all of the gospels And the rest of the letters, (excluding acts never read it all the way through) but It has been a little while since reading all of the gospel and the letters, but have made it something in my life to do an accomplish at least to know what the scripture says.

So if anyone ever tells me something that is contrary to what God has placed forth it can be known by the spirit that what is being placed forth is wrong right away.

The reason this happens is because most of the time on here especially people hold their own values and opinions of what they believe is right when it comes down to scripture. Because they may have been taught all their life to believe a certain way and never challenge that belief if it is the right one or not.

So that is the thing; though we have Jesus Christ and we live by faith and live by the spirit.

It is still good to challenge yourself to read, grow in knowledge and ask and seek for God to guide you by testing all things by the scripture themselves. It does help to have a teacher; but even the simple method of;

Who,what,when,why,where,how is a big step in understanding everything going on in a more meaningful way; than someone who may tell you; you must do this or you must do that.

Being guided by the spirit is far more beneficial while you trust God ask those questions and learn.

I believe it’s totally okay for people to believe contrary to me as well. Because of freedom in Christ for another individual. Though my view on hell is seeing that is over and Someone else says their view is that they see hell as forever and ever. Though we may disagree it’s always about love. In the end of it.

If anyone says they Love God and hate another brother they are still walking in darkness because of that log in their eye.

That is a great scripture.

Some believe that unity is about lining up with someone else’s view though; it can be seen that way by some people.

Like mentioned earlier about just hell itself.

Someone may say well that guy doesn’t believe heLl is still a place where people go he doesn’t line up my thinking then they will judge you for it; it happens more or less online mainly. But also in the real world to.

Someone you disagree with then you become in a heated argument and then anger comes about. It happens can’t lie.

But the unity in the faith that is about loving God and loving others. No matter if they are gay, or atheist, or whatever they done with their life; to hate is not the objective of a Christian; however love is.

It is so amazing to know how much God does truly love each and all individuals in this planet.

Someone could get just upset reading that above.

You think God loves everyone! You’re wrong Matthew!!

It is still perplexing the human mind and how it is… it is also perplexing that even today people do not believe Jesus death was for all people;

They only believe it was for ‘some’ people that had no choice in the matter they were just specially chosen… they didn’t decide to believe or anything just forced into it by God I guess.

Sorry for my ramblings take care and good night.

Thank you all for commenting.

Your encouragement is appreciated Truman The Levite. Have restored the video the last one had messed up.

What was stated earlier about the unity thing is a real thing; because even Muslims, Jehovah Witness, Mormons though they may have different views they do believe in Jesus...

So when it comes down to me when it comes down to anyone placing demands on other people of - YOU MUST DO THIS YOU MUST DO THAT it really just gets right under my skin because that is so wrong...

If you are going to teach it should be in humility and share unadulterated truth... It is know by those who have seen my post that everything for me has been completed and even Jesus Christ has already returned; so it gives more liberty that way of not waiting for a return except to return at the end of life going onward to God; no worrying about the last days because that was for them then.

So the liberty in believing everything has been completed and still being loved by God... is freeing, and the knowledge knowing it is not based on works salvation. Salvation was completed by the Lord Jesus Christ and the works He done; and He through us works love by the spirit of Christ that is given to us by God.

The truth of the matter is to question and seek for truth, and the bible has the answers to the truth of many different subjects, and over all the end result is always still through all of it will always be Love in the 1 Corinthians 13 sense to any and towards all people.

Thank you for sharing and you all take care.

I think, at a deep level, you and I get each other, where few, if any others, do.
I think that you're the guy who related to me when I talked about Jesus resurrecting in my heart?

Always look towards God and the Son of God Yeshua friends. It is so amazing to experience the love God had for you. He hears our prayers and He hears our thanks. The Father and the Son both are worthy to be praised, and served. How awesome is it too that the Father is a giver of good things, not bad things. He gives you what need that builds your character. It’s all a choice on what you desire to do. You can serve Him freely or choose to serve yourself instead. Looking towards Him and the Lord Yeshua is the best choice in my opinion.

Take care, thank you all for commenting.

Brother I hear your heart and how it yearns for that unity of faith....and you know what? You're right...how refreshing to see such a heartfelt thread that isn't seeking to promote himself or his beliefs but seeks to bond together in brotherly/sisterly love....seeks to attain the Peace of God within the body....
I just love this thread!!

I remember when I first came to faith I just believed what I was told, just presumed that the people at church around me knew far more than I did, so I took things on face value. As I grew as a Christian I started to study scripture more deeply myself and that is when I started to realise that I didn’t always agree with the conclusions and thoughts of other Christians.
I tend to always weigh up what others say , it’s just a norm now.

I try to seek answers in the Bible when I have questions now. The internet and Bible Gateway make this so easy. Plus, I try to read through the entire Bible so I can be familiar with verses that people are quoting.

I agree that we should display love for one another as the body of Christ.
