What Can We Do?

Hi there CB members i want your imput here. What can i do to make this site better to lead to guide to let god direct and touch. What am i doing wrong here in trying to let god lead. What can we do to grow as the body of christ because i have no clue. Staff members are welcome to participate as well. Please people lets brainstorm here and come up with a better place were people can worship

One Christian site I was on, the gifts of the spirit were talked about more, and I saw people asking for prayer, and God moving and delivering children and people from impossible things. I was really blessed how everyone came together and prayed for each other. Sadly, I was banned twice, because even though they were spirit filled, my strong Word of faith belief rubbed some of them the Wrong way.

For the most part, most here are more interested in numbers, and end time junk, than getting someone healed, or their children free from bondage. This is on reason I left this forum for awhile. We like to argue over some of the dumbest things. I mean how many UFO post do we need, and who really cares?? I am interested in the Children of God walking in Victory, and getting their needs meet. Believing God for things, and watching them come to pass. I mean we fight about who was born to who, and just nit pick.

Look how much attention that post on the 144,000 is getting. Just amazing.

This does nothing for the person sitting at home facing their power being shut off, and their children sick.

Of course, this could just be my soap box, and I could be wrong, but it's what I see now.

Im agree with you Mike it doesnt do anything for the homeless person or the out of work person if we dont encourage each other. I think maybe if we start engaging in public prayer this would solve the problem. I cant speak for you but personally im going to devise a reading plan in my apologetic christian forum where the word can start flowing more. I beleive once we just preach the word more and encourage people more we will be in better unity with christ.

Bro.m., the gifts of the spirit are more a denominational thing, this is a nondenominational forum. Many here, including me, do not agree with much of those denominational ideas.

Well jerry i just sent brother Hammerstone a PM so we will have to see from there. Also i dont think that brother mike meant any offense when he stated the comment about the end time junk as he calls it. I agree with you though its a very serious concern and preperation in the eyes of the beleiver. I beleive what he actually meant was that people get to carried away with it sometimes and that is also true.

Are you aware of how much space the "end times junk" is given in God's Word? Is God's Word JUNK? He IS offended!
Look up the word "scoffers" in God's Word!

No offense Taken Brother JerryJohnson. I suppose this is an example of what Gumby's thread is about.

A good portion of God's Word deals with events that were to take place and have taken place. There are events yet to come. Man will not change any of this, though the Church may play a part by obedience as we preach the Gospel all over the World, then the End Comes.

I suppose someone that is fascinated with the events that will bring us to the eventual destruction of earth, would have gotten upset by my choice of Words. (End time Junk.) It appears now that I could have better picked some better words. None of God's Word is Junk of course, I just don't put that much emphasis on end time events.
Satan is defeated, a looser, and we know the end. I am told to watch and pray, but there is nothing to be concerned about. I take a victory in Jesus position, The gates of hell won't even come close to touching the Church, it will be Satan's most failed attempt yet.

That is why I am not to concerned about it, so Junk is a bad Word. I am more concerned with what is happening in peoples lives now, not what may be another 100 years if the Lord just tarry a little bit. If we count the years, then time is apparently up. Welcome to grace. How long? Anyone's guess.

This was Gumby's point. In my view, I feel we should be more concerned with how people are doing now, Why? that is what the Lord has put in me. So, my false assumption is that all Christians should be focused on that. I guess we all would be happy if we were all eyes, but where would the hearing be?

A well rounded Christian cares about all of Gods Word not just parts
they like ...
Anyone ever notice there are forums here ?
Why do you think that is ?

Mike you think healing, spirtual, important i dont disagree but then post in Apolgetics and the spirtual section thats whats its for !
... you are talking about evanglism ... thats fine but its just a part.

End times forum ..is for that End Times stuff if you dont like it Mike or anytone dont post there or read ..its that simple.
If God puts it on someone to be a watchman and post these things ... then who is to decide you/they have heard enough ..just dont read it .

Bible discussions ..are just that if they are to deep for one then stay out of the discussion, Mike, stop interfering and making remarks to those of us who like discussing these things and believe they are very important ... theres room for everyone if one stays where ones interest lays.

I personally as many here do not need to be healed... God already did that years ago, why on earth do I want to spend all day talking about it on every forum ?..

If I feel the need to ask for prayer I will go to the proper Prayer forum ...not End Time Events

Instead of worrying about what we are discussing in End times, or areas one isnt concerned with pay attention to your own intererests.

If healing is your thing great, why arent you posting some uplifting thing in apoligics or spirtual forum ? Doing what you say we need to do ...thats not our calling it maybe yours but its not everyones. So do it in your area ....and we will all be happy

Some of us think studying scripture past evagilism is of utmost importance and time is short. God has put it on us to sound a warning and share deeper things ...No one knows what God has put on anothers heart to post.
Either read it and learn/discuss it or dont.

But the last thing this site needs is more Evanglism and milk,
Not saying we dont it at all, well rounded sites need it for those looking for that support. Or starting out , But keep it where it belongs. . And stop straying into areas you dont care about, to make smart remarks and put down those trying to study ....

To be honest, I don't pay attention to what part of the forum I post in. I just click the find new post button. That is why the forum is in sections........... I get it!!!

I will try to pay better attention to where I am posting, and what I am posting......... seriously, I was not really paying attention. I just get carried away and have fun.

See this is your opinion. I dont find it discouraging and neither do alot of others ....its part of Gods Word

I find it exciting and wonderful and humbling ......that we of all generation in the past 2000 years was chosen by God to be here at the most important time in history sense the disciples walked the earth ...
How honered we should be !
That God choose us.... to be here now ...To see the book unsealed to us ..to know the events about to happen to us all... To watch Gods Word come to fulfillment before our very eyes ..To wittness his very coming !!

You find it discouranging thats a mystery to me I have faith all saved souls have no reason to worry, If they are aware of the events they wont be fooled that what we try to do ....The train is coming down the tracks whether you like it or not ... You may think it better to comfort those on the tracks ..I think its better to warn them to get off the track before the train comes.

You find it discourging because you dont study it . Once one understands it properly you can be nothing but thankful.
I thank God everyday I am alive here and now in this end time generation ...

I am happy to do as he calls me to do and sound the alarm to his sheep ...We were chosen to do so here and now....discouraging? ...That you can choose to be of the overcomers and first resurrected ?.....No Way ...
unless you listen to men and fairytales ...and refuse to be fore warned.
I cant wait for the Day I see him coming in the clouds, and if ?I must endure some tribulation to see that so be it. :)

You know, like going to the Healing and victory section and put down those that talk about that stuff all the time. Your point I think was that there is a place to discuss things, and if you don't care for those things then don't bother with it.

As for being here during this time, my Pastor Keith Moore talked about the times we were born, and that we were selected to be born in this time. Wishing that we were born another time would have put us out of our place and calling, and we should be thankful for the time God has chosen us to be here, because it's the time we are suppose to be here, and any other time we would not be blessed and out of place.

You know people talk about them good old days, and mope around missing those days. They are suppose to be looking forward for today, the time they were designed for.

The end time stuff would not irritate me so much if people would stay positive about it. We win, and the Victory is ours. No need to be so doom and gloom about it.
