I hate religion and have for a number of years. I was born into a catholic family that was how I got religious than the Holy Spirit got a hold of me and my life went for a spin. I still today could not tell you when God begun working on me but it was certainly before 1978. And here I am today, no religion no church, no denomination, no pastors, priests, or popes ruling over me, Just Jesus, my best friend God and teh Holy Spirit. You know one day many years ago I started talking to Jesus, every morning while walking to the bus stop and up the hill to work, never thought about it, it just came naturally. I stll cant even say that the day I gave my life to Him was such a big thing it just seemed to be another path to take, yet in all of this I always had Jesus at my side, even after I quit following after men.

You see I cant understand why they are left out of every thing, christians even put the bible above God, and that I cannot understand, but than we have being lied to for so long I guess its not suprising. Its amazing how many barriers and walls christians put up between themselves and God and how easy it is for the devil to get us so twisted up we dont know which way is up, yet no one seems to even consider taking things to God.He once told me in a converstaion to stop trying to figure Him out, mind you it was doing my head in.

Our God, the one who created the world, teh universe teh stars, the animals, every living creature, even you and me, yet He gets locked up ina box, has chains around his legs , shakles on His arms. Gag upon His mouth, relegated to a few 100 pages in a book, sundays and saturdays and treated as if He cant do anything.

I dont know about you, but my God , the living God, He isnt dead, is teh God of the impossible, yet He seems to find iti impossible to get any one to listen to Him. Its no wonder christianity has failed in its quest as a religion. Maybe one day when that veil is removed and the blind see,you will all see what you have being missing out on.

If you would like God, just ask, He isnt deaf.

In all His Love

Whatever happened to God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit?

They are alive and well and can be found in churches all over the place.

We all have a tendency to try and put God into a box. He isn't confined to the Church - but He isn't excluded from it either!

mjr,

I think you ought to open your eyes to the truth. There are approx 2.1 BILLION Christians in a world population of 6.9 BILLION. See HERE.

So a Christianity that has embraced one third of the world's people is a failure??? I think you are somewhat short sighted.
