The 4th is destroyed before the 3 first kingdoms are allowed to continue so they are not under the 4th kingdom at all. There is nothing about the 4th kingdom continuing in any form at all. That's added to the text by those who think it was Rome, and how the RCC was in power after but none of that matches the text by Daniel. People want it to have been Rome sop badly, they literally force it all into the text.

Dan 7:9 I beheld till the thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of days did sit, whose garment was white as snow, and the hair of his head like the pure wool: his throne was like the fiery flame, and his wheels as burning fire.
Dan 7:10 A fiery stream issued and came forth from before him: thousand thousands ministered unto him, and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him: the judgment was set, and the books were opened.
Dan 7:11 I beheld then because of the voice of the great words which the horn spake: I beheld even till the beast was slain, and his body destroyed, and given to the burning flame.
Dan 7:12 As concerning the rest of the beasts, they had their dominion taken away: yet their lives were prolonged for a season and time.

Dominion not taken away until after the 4th is gone.

Just as it is written.
Who is the 4th kingdom?

Who is the 4th kingdom?

The first question you are really needing to ask is, "What entity type are the four beasts and the Little Horn of Daniel 7:1-12?"

The second question you are really needing to ask is, "Can these particular five beast entities exercise influence over people groups, nations and empires, to perform their respective beastly dominate characteristics, just like Satan can?

The third question that you are really needing to ask is, " How do the respective beastly entities, hide themselves so that they generally remain hidden from view for humanity such that we attribute their respective activities to people groups, nations and empires instead of the respective beasts themselves?

If we can answer these three questions honestly, will our created theological constructs improve our understanding of how God is in control of all that is happening in this world right at this very moment?

Daniel 7 is not a stand alone prophecy. Daniel 2 formed the framework for all subsequent prophecies, and if your interpretation of Daniel 7 contradicts Daniel 2, then you have made a mistake. In Daniel 2, the iron of the 4th kingdom continues from the hips all the way down to the toes and isn't destroyed until the second coming. It is mingled with clay at some time during its life, changing its nature from a secular pagan kingdom as pagan Rome was, to Religio/ political kingdom in the form of the papacy. The clay represents the church in the NT. When the church joined with the state forming an unnatural union, it spelled the eventual demise of both.

Question answered by the angel himself who named 3 of them, Babylon, Medo/Persia, and Greece, stating categorically that they were all 4 kings that would arise in the earth.

That is the answer given in Daniel 8 but Daniel 7 describes the five beasts of Daniel 7:1-12, whereas the five segments of the Daniel 2 Statue prophecy has no common topology with Daniel 7:1-12.

Your rebuttal is not scriptural correct.

You are trying to blend two dif prophecies to change the outcome of one in Dan 7. There is also nothing in Daniel 2 that shows any part of the 4th kingdom continuing after it's destruction. No scripture supports that concept but some want to force pagan Rome and the RCC into Daniel because that's what they were taught was correct.

Answered in post 271.
And your answer in #271 is
Scripture and history have told us exactly what and who they are.

For those who believe Scripture and history.

Daniel 7

Ten historical Roman horns (kingdoms) which arose out of the fourth beast/kingdom of the Roman empire, and their first or early kings:

Heruli - Anthyrius I
Suevi - Hermeric
Burgundians - Gjúki
Huns - Attila
Ostrogoths - Theodoric
Visigoths - Alaric I
Vandals - Genseric
Lombards - Lethuc
Franks - Ascaric
Anglo-Saxons - Alfred the Great

Roman little horn (kingdom) and king: The Roman papacy, governed by pope Gelasius I when the first of the three kings in Daniel 7:8,20,24, Odoacer of the Heruli, was overthrown in 493 AD.

The three kings overthrown ("subdued"): Odoacer of the Heruli in 493 AD, Gelimer of the Vandals in 534 AD, Teia of the Ostrogoths in 553 AD.

Is still not scripturally correct, which is what I have shown.

I have shown that the Roman Empire was around 60 years too late to have had dominion over the land of Babylon which had been devasted and made desolate by the Greek Seleucid Empire around 120 BC.

Daniel Chapters 2 and 8 has no connectivity with Daniel chapter 7. All you are doing is repeating the bad mouthing of the leaders from the time of the Reformation Fathers which was created to demonise the RCC.

Unless you have evidence to the contrary this interaction cannot go forward.

Goodbye

Please provide your interpretation of verses 2:40 - 45. Please identify the actors and events in these verses not just a general comment on what you think it means. God is very specific within these verses and they reflect the 4th kingdom .... and most of this is just after the cross.

Who is correct?
1. You
2. The Reformers
Hint?

You just avoided everything I posted so I won't be doing that until the points I made are addressed properly.

Your failure to see the connections between Daniel 2,7,8,9 and 11, reveals how much you are relying on your own private interpreting.

The destruction of the iron kingdom...pagan Rome... hasn't been completely accomplished yet. None of those powers are completely destroyed. You can see remnants of each one in the composite beast of Revelation 13. Their destruction comes at the second coming... which has not yet taken place.

“32 This image's head was of fine gold, his breast and his arms of silver, his belly and his thighs of brass, 33 His legs of iron, his feet part of iron and part of clay. 34 Thou sawest till that a stone was cut out without hands, which smote the image upon his feet that were of iron and clay, and brake them to pieces. 35 Then was the iron, the clay, the brass, the silver, and the gold, broken to pieces together, and became like the chaff of the summer threshingfloors; and the wind carried them away, that no place was found for them: and the stone that smote the image became a great mountain, and filled the whole earth. ”
Daniel 2:32-35 KJV
“Forasmuch as thou sawest that the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that it brake in pieces the iron, the brass, the clay, the silver, and the gold; the great God hath made known to the king what shall come to pass hereafter: and the dream is certain, and the interpretation thereof sure. ”
Daniel 2:45 KJV

At least I have thought about what I have read in Daniel without blindly accepting what others have assumed is their truth. I looked for and found my truth. It is up to you to decide whether or not you want to accept my truth or other peoples. I am content with my truth at this present time until more truth is revealed to me.

Goodbye

The EU is the Roman Empire manifested in the end times.

Some nations of the EU are militarily strong (iron). Some nations of the EU are militarily weak (clay).
