John 3:18 IS THE JUDGMENT of all men, right now and has been, ever since the day of His crucifixion and resurrection.
Listen to Jesus' words to the thief on the cross.
Luke 23

The reality for the dead burying their dead is literal

On the one hand one is (very literally) "spiritually" dead while the other being buried is (very literally) phyically dead.
