Question: Where did you get "Ladders Give and Snakes Take?"
Anyone receiving some cause and effect with The Spiritual may have been working on certain spiritual lines or laws. Was there a Occultist or Satanist doing something who received some cause and effect, even if it was from a demon? They were doing particular things. Not anythings. Particular things. How I came to see this was through God, watching music videos and media, paying attention to lyrics and looking at the artist's vision in their videos.
A good starting point for that may be:

Satan - A liar and a thief. Has worked to steal away understanding and things of God.
Luciferian - Believed that God is the dark and man or something else was the light.
A lot of Christian people saw AC/DC as Satanic or Demonic back in the 1970's and 1980's. They weren't wrong. We can hear it in their music. Part of what they did, with others, was steal away understanding of what it means to be a man?
Video:
In the video, we have a man who lived life. He loved adventure. He loved one woman. He did a lot of great things.
In the 1970's and 1980's, manliness became associated with sex, drugs, and rock and roll? Understanding was stolen away.
A Luciferian song may have been "Sin City" AC/DC. By the title, we know that the song has some sort of spiritual relevance. They are singing about sin, a topic in the Bible. The song may have been listened to in two ways. Someone listening to the song perceiving a man who went into Vegas or something, and being in sin, doing the wrong things, that may have been how many people perceived it. The song may also be listened to from the perspective that Jonah or a Jesus like figure is going into Sin City. He is going to win. The Bible tells us so.
Ladders Given and Snakes Take was something I picked up, or God pointed out to me.
