That's not what I got from what I've read of him. Although I have seen that when any ideological group wants to attempt to claim him as their darling, it will be impossible for them because no sooner have they accepted him for what he said against the opposing ideology, he will most assuredly point out the fractures, inconsistencies and absurdities of their own.

So anyone who tries to place him in any certain ideological box will run into trouble, because when they ask him, are you thus and thus or do you believe in such and such, he will immediately ask them to define "thus" and "such."

A fairly important point you seem to have overlooked is that priests boast of the ability to declare "absolution" for that confession..... Psychologists (I worked for one for more than two decades) do not.

I don't think the man plays a silly game after reading many pieces of what he has written. I think He just resists being hijacked by leftwing nuts, rightwing nuts, communists, socialists, feminists, maosists, and any other ists or -gogues.

Dr. Jordan Peterson isn't a Joke.

People like Dr. Carl Jung were into The Occult. Dr. Jordan Peterson was threatened. People threatened him for using Dr. Carl Jung. Why?

How much do you know of The Principalities? Why are The Principalities not taught more? Given someone were to go to a Divinity school, how much do they talk about The Principalities? Not much at this time? Possibly, the reason why, is that on top, there have been occultist type people doing the wrong things who were false teachers. An understanding of the Principalities implies an understanding of Good and Evil, and understanding of deceit and lies, an understand of Darkness and The Light. Some people have rather lived in comfortable lies?

A man of God, with the Spirit of God, may be able to out a lot of wrong doers with understanding of Dr. Carl Jung.

Anyone receiving some cause and effect with The Spiritual may have been working on certain spiritual lines or laws. Was there a Occultist or Satanist doing something who received some cause and effect, even if it was from a demon? They were doing particular things. Not anythings. Particular things. How I came to see this was through God, watching music videos and media, paying attention to lyrics and looking at the artist's vision in their videos.

Satan - A liar and a thief. Has worked to steal away understanding and things of God.

A lot of Christian people saw AC/DC as Satanic or Demonic back in the 1970's and 1980's. They weren't wrong. We can hear it in their music. Part of what they did, with others, was steal away understanding of what it means to be a man?

The song may have been listened to in two ways. Someone listening to the song perceiving a man who went into Vegas or something, and being in sin, doing the wrong things, that may have been how many people perceived it. The song may also be listened to from the perspective that Jonah or a Jesus like figure is going into Sin City. He is going to win. The Bible tells us so.

A seer sees the Spiritual. Ezekiel in Ezekiel 1 was seeing into the principalities. In Ezekiel 8, God gave Ezekiel vision of what has happening in the secret and dark places.

When a trumpet sounds in a city, do not the people tremble? When disaster comes to a city, has not the LORD caused it? 7Surely the Sovereign LORD does nothing without revealing his plan to his servants the prophets. (Amos 3:6-7)

Given you have believed there were no prophets or there was going to never be another prophet, that may have been a false belief started by people working to control God more similar to the pharisees.

At this point, someone may be curious the theological and denominational background and grounding of The Author.

Question: What is your view on Cessationalism?

Cessationalism has often had to do with jealousy and envy. It is a sin.

• Why him and not me?
  
• If I cannot have it, no one can have it?
  
• Someone who loved Modernism with their soul may have needed many false things to be true, and was a Luciferian. The idea of Spiritual Gifts may threaten him?

Some Cessationalists have liked to use 1 Corinthians 13:8-11.

Instead of being caught up in jealousy or sin, someone should let go. Seek God. Be meek before God. 1 Corinthians 13 supposes The Power of the Tongue, and someone has been growing in Faith.

A seer is a person who “sees.” In the Bible, a seer is another name for a prophet (see 1 Samuel 9:9). But, more specifically, a seer was a prophet who saw visions—pictures or scenes seen in the mind’s eye, in dreams, or even with one’s natural eye. God spoke to His people through prophets in different ways, and one way was through visions. Accompanying the ability to see visions, a seer was given insight into what God was saying by these visions.

There are a few different Hebrew words translated “seer.” Roeh (1 Samuel 9:11) and chozeh (2 Samuel 24:11) are the two most common. To answer the OP's question from a personal standpoint, I have the gift of prophecy. Sometimes, God reveals what He wants me to speak through words and sometimes through a picture in my mind. When He gives me a picture, He also gives me an explanation of what the picture means so that I can relay the meaning to the person or group.

I think that I've shared this example before. Several years ago, I was attending a church that allowed prophetic words. The Holy Spirit gave me a picture of a harbor with ships in it. He prompted me to share it with the church and showed me the meaning. The message was that there were people in the church who would be leaving what felt like the safe harbor for uncharted waters, but that God had charted the waters and that the safe harbor is Jesus Christ. After I shared this, an elder confirmed that the message was for the pastor and his wife.

My understanding of Dr. Peterson has been a little different. One of the things he talks about that I have liked has been the idea of "Ideological Possession."

Given I were to talk to an atheist about God online, he may have been an egotist, a blind man, and he used the exact same arguments that any other atheist I have found online may have used. He probably didn't read the Bible, but he may have said he did, in a lie, to look knowledgeable. He would like to believe that he was a "Free Thinker" but he was ideologically possessed and had mental issues.

Dr. Peterson has been able to clear people of ideological possession. That may be a good place for a Christian Evangelist to be.

I think some Christians don't like him because he is more advanced than they are....and they don't understand why. Sign of the times.
Mr. Peterson tackles all the hard stuff of being a Christian in a real sincerity without all the self-serving hype about how righteous he is for it. He is anti-religious from the point of view of dogmatic ideologies that breed totalitarian systems that impede the truth.
