What Is Love?

As long as I repent, when I need to repent, and forgive, when I need to forgive, in other words, put Him first. He is faithful.
And if I don't do things His way, He is faithful to bring me to the place where I have a change of mind.

In the greek, which the New Testament is written in there are four words for love

Phileo - Brotherly love
Storge - affection
Eros - Romantic love
Agape - Self less love (The God kind of love)

As far as Adam's response to Eve...why do you think he called her "WHOA MAN!" ;)

Well, even though it was sinful I can understand why Adam sinned. Here's probably how the conversation went down:


Eve: *Holding apple from forbidden fruit tree while completely naked* Hey, Adam,.. want some of this? ;)

Love is not just a feeling or emotion. It is an action.

The word we see for love in the Bible often (love your neighbor as yourself) is "ahava". To give love.

I think romantic love is somewhere between respect, admiration, and enjoyment of the other person.
