Has anyone really thought about what the Bible is about? Yes, we all have ideas, I think, but the real heart, the real meat and potatoes so to speak, of it all, what is it about? I've got my own idea that I'd working on but I'm really be interested in other people take on this. What is the Bible about? From start to end what is it all about?

It's mainly about God's dealings with his people (past, present and future) and those that come into contact with them but who don't join them.

It is all about God and His love for mankind.

A concept I'm working on is marriage. The story of Christ and his marriage. Like I said though, it's a concept, but the Bible begins with marriage and ends with it. In between we have many varieties of marriage. In John, Christ begins his ministry with him gathering his disciples (His Bride?) and commencing it with a marriage. The Song of Soloman and many other references. It seems interesting that the Bible starts with God introducing marriage then our ending is Christ's marriage.Like I said though, its just a concept.
