Tertullian argues - I think convincingly - that all sin is connected with idolatry.

“The principal crime of the human race, the highest guilt charged upon the world, the whole procuring cause of judgment, is idolatry. For, although each single fault retains its own proper feature, although it is destined to judgment under its own proper name also, yet it is marked off under the general account of idolatry.”

Let me explain... Your question alone shows you missed the mark... Thus your question was a SIN!
Guessing this is not going to be the biggest sin you have had to overcome...?

Glad to help you understand!

Im still tempted at times to look at pornography. But God helps me when Im tempted. Ive learned to look for the way of escape that He promises.

I also have a great evening routine. Its been working well for months now.

Is your evening routine something you can share with us?

As it’s working well for you it may also work well, and therefore be a blessing, for us.

Hello!

Id be happy too. Im always tempted from about 6-bed time. So I make an enjoyable routine.

I turn on chillhop music, light a candle, heat up some tea, and journal till I get sleepy.

The routine can be different, it just has to be enjoyable and engage your mind.

I love Psalm 119:11 Thy Word have I hidden in my heart that I might not sin against thee.

Sometimes you need a quick Scripture to fight the temptation. But I find with the routine, I offen skip being tempted all together.

Part of my pastoral duties before retiring involved counseling with men and women on a wide range of issues. Pornography is a common problem for men and is more common for women than many people think it is.

I still do some counseling in retirement and love your routine. I practice very nearly the same thing myself and recommend it to others, male and female alike.

Thank you for sharing your routine with us. I’m personally encouraged and strengthened by it and believe it will be a blessing to a great many of our readers.

my temper sometimes & sometimes i struggle with sexual imorlity, that's why i pray alot & read God's word in the mornings

I love that you mention a morning routine. Often working people are in a hurry in the morning and don’t have time - or take time to make time - to read and pray before they move into the activities of the day.

Thank you and @Wynona for speaking about it. I’m certain you’ve provided comfort, hope and practical assistance to others by doing so. I believe you’ll be blessed by others as we’ve been blessed by you.

Some discussion forums have sections dedicated for “Women Only” and “Men Only” where people can discuss issues among themselves privately. This board doesn’t, but perhaps the new owner would be open to the suggestion that such forums be added.

Some discussion forums have a section dedicated for “Chaplain Services” where qualified volunteers are available to provide counseling to forum members who request it. This board doesn’t, but perhaps the new owner would be open to the suggestion of adding such a forum.
