For someone who doesn’t believe God exists, you sure talk a lot about him.
I talk about a lot of subjects, and give straight answers to questions.
I have no problem with accepting that a God might well exist, my problem is when people give their chosen God a personality and pretend to know God's likes and dislikes.

I often think about where everything originated and I don't trust that science is quite there yet. The reason that I'm an atheist is that I'm not convinced that any of the many God's that are believed in and worshiped nowadays quite fit the bill as the creator of the universe.

And you already know my opinion on a few topics already.

You have a problem. Jesus has the solution to your problem.

You’re not registered here as an atheist. Why is that?

… is that I'm not convinced that any of the many God's that are believed in and worshiped nowadays quite fit the bill as the creator of the universe.

And you already know my opinion on a few topics already.

Would you be persuaded to believe that God exists if you heard an audible voice in the dark claiming to be God?
No.
I would be convinced if I heard an audible voice that detailed an account of how everything was created from scratch and that account totally blew the Big Bang theory out of the water.
As an aside this accont from God himself could have easily been inserted into scripture, just think about the scientists today scratching their heads wondering how on earth the writings in Genesis were so accurate.

Thanks. That’s why I wrote what I did.

I don’t think so. But, if that’s all it takes, you would be easily duped.

Yes I am....

The last time I looked it said agnostic. It does say atheist now.

When it still identified you as an agnostic I stated that you are an atheist (based on something you had written) and you didn’t object. After that I referred to you as agnostic / atheist. Going forward I’ll refer to you as an atheist.

That’s something an agnostic would typically say. I’ll still refer to you as an atheist but a small shift has happened in my mind. I went from thinking of you as agnostic leaning atheist to atheist leaning agnostic.

The reason that I'm an atheist is that I'm not convinced that any of the many God's that are believed in and worshiped nowadays quite fit the bill as the creator of the universe.

What would fit the bill as the creator of the universe in your opinion?

That depends upon whether the God is interested in it's creation and whether it wanted a relationship with it.
I'm more inclined to believe in a creative power that set the wheels in motion and allowed nature to take it's course.
