I have been trained in seminary. Raised a Christian in churches. Been a minister of the Gospel of the Kingdom for two decades. What does Scripture say about being under Grace? What does being under grace mean? I have my convictions about the subject, but I want to see if the there is a general definition agreed upon as the core Christian doctrine for being under grace.
Some assume that if because tthey believe Jesus paid the price for their sns and they are not under the law ffor righteousness, then they are automatically under grace. However absense of law is just lalessness, grace is what Jesus was "full of" (John 1:14) - the nature and works of God. He was full of the Holy Spirit, "the Spirit of grace", only by receiving abd walking in the Spirit, the law of the Spirit of life that sets free from the law of sin and death ("the flesh") are you truly under grace. And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn.(Zec:12:10)they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance . . the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call. (Acts 2:4, 39)Have you received that manic? If not, you still don't know the grace of God in truth. The GOOD NEWS is that God is ready, willing and able to fulfil this promise in you today.
