Wow. She got upset because the customer placed the money on the counter instead of in her hand.
I was in the checkout line at the local grocery yesterday.
The customer in front of me was clearly in a mood. He gave the cashier grief over everything.
Then the total came.
We all stepped back. He went off. Then he wanted the cashier to rescan every item and tell him the price of each. Even though the scanned items show their price on the customer side.
It was ugly. And the cashier remained perfectly calm and sweet.
He was so mad at the end that he said in this sarcastic tone, I'll pray for you.
To which the sweet little cashier said, thank you. And I shall pray for you too sir.Big smile added.
He smirked and shouted at her, lady I don't need you to pray for me!
Me and every person in line,a lot by then because there were only two registers open, said out loud, at the same time, Yes you do. Oh, yes you need prayers sir, yes! Amen, help him Jesus. God Bless you Marion! That was me because I saw her name tag.
It was beautiful!
Top it off. The manager who later told us she'd had him blow up at her earlier that day, came over and said to the cashier, good job!
And to the mean customer she said, sir, you've completed your business here. You may leave now.
Yes, it's true. We all applauded as he left. Not the cashier, but her manager sure did.
People are getting meaner. And for ridiculous reasons!
