Hi there!

So this should really make you confident, that praising God is purely for the Love of it! Christ experienced life in relation to mortality, but keep Himself alive in God, by reminding Himself of the Psalms. But when Christ reaches His Father in Heaven, there is no longer separation from God, because of mortality. The Bible promises we will be included in this also, that we will be known, just as we know ourselves. This is part of the Universe entering the Light, more broadly - we know ourselves in light, and the Universe around us is swallowed by light. What is interesting is that Light starts to be all consuming!

If Light becomes all consuming, the Lord becomes satisfied with the Light, that He has done His work in the Light and the Light has welcomed Him in the Light. Remember that Revelation promises our works will follow after us? Well, Light is God's work, the Light therefore will follow after Him. The interesting thing, is when you consider what this will be like, at extreme. If God is completely consumed by His own Light, He will no longer desire praise, for that Light. The Bible talks about 'does the Master thank the servants because they did what was asked? No!" Similarly, you can ask "Does the Master require special praise, because He has done all things in His power?" and the answer is "no!". The question is: do you want to praise Him, anyway?

I think the reality is, that this working of the Light will be so amazing, that people will be in a state where they can't help but continually praise God, anyway! God will be indifferent to the praise, in one sense, but will not rule it out. He could rule it out, but He won't. It's a love of God, thing! Really, this is a picture of Grace in eternity - we are not compelled to praise God, because praise is a work, we are invited to praise God, because God is worthy of all praise, whether He likes it or not. I think this is going to lead to some truly amazing praise!

I hope this has been of some encouragement.

God bless.
