That OT date is pretty close. New Testament I could not tell you. Most scholars agree that the OT was between the 12th and the 2nd century BC.

We dont know the exact dates but it is commonly believed that the Apostles and Disciple caopied and shared all inspired writings amongst the Churches ot keep divergent writings from gaining credence. This would put the culmination of the NT around the time of the writing of Revelations and the Death of John. Which would be no later than between 90 and 110 AD. The date of the first written beook of the NT is also in debate but many believe it could of been within Christ lifetime or 5 years after His death. Since we do not have the originals this comes into great debate. The OT is believed to have been gradually accumulated from the time of Moses to within 500 years of Christ. There are also other beliefs that Job was written before Moses time as well as many writing that may have influenced Moses. But as we know it God relayed the history to Moses because many records were lost while in Egypt. It is possible that Abraham, Seth, Adam and many other could have written accounts that were lost or forgotten until Moses. It is also possible that the Hebrews who did not go into Egypt could have kept these records and upon Moses return to the promised land it would have been very simple to have compared notes an realize the had the same histories.Since there are no autographs still in existance as is acceptable to the world the dates and theories of the entire Bible is debated on a regular basis.

Thank you for your answer RobinD69, but is what I said safe to say? Does every argument stay within those years?

Thus dissention among the Christian faith...no one agrees on anything...
