When will Christ return?

[Scott Downey]

Scott Downey noted:
<And he did come suddenly>

Malachi 3:1 פחאום = "suddenly, unexpectedly." It does not equate to "visit."

Malachi 3 there is about the first advent of Christ, not the second coming.

[William Barton]

Malachi 3 there is about the first advent of Christ, not the second coming.

"I will send my messenger, who will prepare the way before me. Then suddenly the Lord you are seeking will come suddenly to his temple; the messenger of the covenant, whom you desire, will come," says the Lord Almighty." (Malachi 3:1)

When did Jesus come "suddenly" to his temple in his first advent?
