Has that happened to you? Did it negatively impact your marriage? My wife is a believer and she bears a lot of good fruit, but she can't tell you much about what's in the Bible. She's Catholic. I have tried sharing the Bible with her but she's just not interested. For that matter, I encounter very few people who share a thirst for the Word of God.

Can you relate to what I'm sharing?

A Christian is one who is born again from above. Being a Catholic doesn't mean she is a Christian. A professing Christian isn't the same as a professing Catholic. It looks like that is the problem.

I can't relate but I believe its possible to be a full fledged Christian without reading the Scriptures a lot. A lot of the early Christians couldn't read. They lived it out.

Humbly, Id say the application of what's learned is more important than knowing all the Scripture.

I wholeheartedly agree with you. I've known a number of people who lived to love and help others and I know they knew little to no scripture.
