And what about the stick used to beat it on to Jesus's head, or the scourge, or the nails or the cross its self.

These were all part of the crucifixion, were used and discarded.

They have no spiritual value or merit or holiness.
Compared to the life, death and resurrection of Jesus they are worthless.

It is Jesus who saves us not objects.

Your opinion is the best, but I bet you didn't really go through the article. I like your opinion about salvation, I was just writing a friend about this. Easter is not about eating, visiting, travelling. It's not just a holiday.

Some of us have forgotten that before this gain(salvation), there was pain. He was bruised, flogged publicly, denied and betrayed by his own, mocked. He was pierced, and starved. All these things for our sake, and some Christians are just taking it as holiday for vacation?

This is funny but not really funny. It's even this period that some Christians commits more sin, which invariably means that they don't know what he went through for our sake. Instead of being subber and appreciative by living the God kind of life.
