NO JUSTICE, NO PEACE! NO JUSTICE, NO PEACE!
I realize this thread is about people who "post" .
What about what people say?
Have you ever heard this phrase, let's say for the last 2 years now?
NO JUSTICE, NO PEACE!
Do you believe this statement is true?
Regardless of who is ranting it, or chanting it, is it a true statement?
If it is truthful, can the Holy Spirit use whatever vessels he feels necessary to get his word out into the world?
Even a child?
Now when considering "contradictory" ...
Does the statement being made matter by who is saying it? And how it's being used?
What does the Bible say about no justice, no peace?
Isaiah has a few things to say about it:
Isa 59:4 None calleth for justice, nor
any pleadeth for truth: they trust in vanity, and speak lies; they conceive mischief, and bring forth iniquity.
Isa 59:8 The way of peace they know not; and
there is no judgment in their goings: they have made them crooked paths: whosoever goeth therein shall not know peace.
Isa 59:9 Therefore is judgment far from us, neither doth justice overtake us: we wait for light, but behold obscurity; for brightness,
but we walk in darkness.
Isa 59:14 And judgment is turned away backward, and justice standeth afar off: for truth is fallen in the street, and equity cannot enter.
Is truth abused?
Can we all read from the same scripture, the same chapter, the same verse, and everyone have their own interpretation of what that verse means?
How about a single word like Justice or Peace?
Now some people take that statement No Justice, No Peace, to mean, if there is no justice, peace isn't possible.
Other people take that same statement to mean, there will be no justice and no peace, until we get what we want.
One is a plea, and the other is a demand.
When people are reading the bible, everyone hears it in their own way.
To some it can be a plea, to others it can be a command.
It's not only important to "quote" scripture, but also to put it in a context of what that scripture is saying to you.
Because it may have an entirely different meaning to someone else.
I'm using this No Justice, No Peace statement, because it can be used and heard in many different ways.
And I'm just using it as an example to explain how, sometimes we misunderstand what each other is really trying to say.
What does No Justice, No Peace mean to you?
What does No Justice, No Peace mean to that little girl?
Are they the same thing? Do they mean the same thing?
How can we all walk in spiritual harmony, all reading from the same scriptures if we can't understand how we all hear it differently?
Communication is the key.
Instead of attacking someone you don't agree with, try asking them to explain what they mean.
Most times you'll find we're all saying the same thing, just coming at it from a different direction.
Luk 8:18 Take heed therefore how ye hear: for whosoever hath, to him shall be given; and whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken even that which he seemeth to have.
Just sharing my thoughts.
