It's what bondslaves did when offered their freedom and instead wanted to serve their masters for ever.

PS: Re. light-headedness, I guess it depends on the strength of the nicotine.

right--the point being, with unfiltered shag, i was getting plenty of nicotine, yet i was still in rather extreme withdrawal, and not really from the social or oral addictions, which i suspected would be next, after nicotine.

The filter is usually absent from the roll-your-own sort. Whether there is any statistical difference among quitters between the varieties, I'm not sure.

what i chiefly notice there is, the difference in a marlboro (et al) v just tobacco. two different things.

two marlboros give me a bad headache now; and even the first one has a decidedly chemical taste, that i have gone so far as to verify by having a friend roll me a bugler, and re-roll me a marlboro, so as to negate any bias on my part.

I heard that the Marlboro man in the advertisements died of lung cancer.

I quite cigarettes about 2 years ago and started vaping. I was at a 18 mg nicotine level when I started and now i'm down to 3 mg nicotine level. Here shortly I'll be going down to 1 mg and be ready to quit that as well.

So vaping did work for you, as you tried to quit! Congrats! :)

I think quite a lot of ppl do find that vaping does help them cut down.

I started her on smoking and am so sorry........ But she says she does not smoke
a lot..... and she had cancer removed she said , , so maybe she will stop now / or did.
I will write her and ask....... we have know each other since we were 4 and 5 .
now we are 82 and 83. We have not seen each other in years... living a distance apart.
over a hour drive and she takes care of her daughter who is in a wheel chair. So is not

I've been quit for 13+ years, and to this day, there are times I want one sooooo bad, I could eat it if it was lit on both ends.

I quit about 6 months ago going on 7, I had a tumor on the side of my jaw close to my ear lobe, I was basically scared into quitting fearing it was cancerous, it turned out to be benign.

How I prayed and promised I would never smoke again if the good Lord spared me, and he did and I’ve kept true to my promise.

Yes I quit for 10 years then went thru a divorce and started back up. I'm wanting to quit again. When I detox from it I feel like I'm going to have a heart attack. Anyways, I can't seem to break free, but I wasn't born with a cigarette in my mouth, so why wouldn't I think I can quit right. I can and will again, even if I have to die first, lol. Sorry for the bad humor ;)

@Devin Wintch Let's hope you will be successful in quitting. A bigger matter is having a new heart which comes from the new birth (John chapter 3).
