i am interested to hear why you have decided to post here. Some have been clear about why they have decided to contribute to this board - Bread of Life is here to challenge his perceived misconceptions about the Catholic Church (NOT THE ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH IDIOTS); meanwhile, Helen is here primarily for the fellowship. I am here to clarify my own beliefs in the moment and to have a record of change over time. So, why are you here?
Good thread, Aspen!

@Episkopos, I normally spend a lot of time in the word and prayer, so visiting forums breaks things up for me during the day. I once logged on to the various forums primarily to socialize with other Christians, but I've learned that's not always the best motive, LoL. If one doesn't log on with his armor on, he's likely to get stuck in short order unfortunately. So these days I'm a bit more pointed about why I log on and/or post. Usually, I'm looking for responses to a particular line of questioning, but I still can't resist socializing and joking around whenever I get the chance. It's my nature, only I usually have to stick to business, given the contentiousness.
But along with socializing, I'm also called as a teacher, so I will teach whenever opportunity arises. Those who teach learn, so I also study other people's doctrines and theologies and the people themselves whenever I can. I also come to check on friends, see how they are doing, and minister to them, or share something going on in my life that I need to tell them about.
There are other reasons as well, I'm sure, but those are the primaries.
