If you are a Christian who votes, would you ever vote for someone who isn’t a Christian?

“Why do you think so many Christians choose not to vote?”

That is a great question!

Ultimately, I would say it's not just Christians...but just a human thing. Have you ever gone to a dance, and not danced? There are people who always dance, and always people who are just not that way, not so inclined, perhaps waiting for just the right opportunity, like tomorrows that never come.

When I was younger going out at night was like...well...the thing to do, and that is what I did, even if I didn't always dance. Now that I am older, after having a full day and dinner...I guess I could have a second wind and jump at the opportunity to see things as just beginning...but I rarely do. Not just 'cause I'm human, but because I have already gather what I have desired that got me out night after not, and I have less to prove. Been there done that.

But voting these days, ought to get us all of the couch--with a cause, and a determination!

Do it!

Absolutely! Just like I would be fine with hiring someone without a degree.

What qualifies one to do a job or even to lead, comes in different forms. If I wanted a ditch dug, a Ditch "Witch" might be the perfect thing. Would I have picked that name for the tool? No, and I would probably not buy a Dirt Devil vacuum cleaner...unless it did a better job. And I suppose there are "nice" bodyguards...but I wouldn't insist upon it. Polite--sure, but "nice", that wouldn't be top of the list.

It is the times that determine what is best, like picking the right tool for any job.

Many understand the candidates ..especially for the senate as well as governors are different wings of the same bird.

They choose not to vote for the lesser evil.

I voted Republican down the ballot. The leftists and Islamists are a danger if they gain more control in our government. Look at what's happening in the UK and Europe.

In 2016, we were given the gawdawful choice of Hillary or Trump. The lesser of two evils, or the evil of two lessers?

Then you ask why Christians don't vote?

2 Timothy 2:4 "No soldier gets entangled in civilian pursuits, since his aim is to please the one who enlisted him."

Some Christians, I've known over the years, cite the above Scripture for not voting.

I voted for Trump for President and I'm glad of it.

Kamala Harris is in favor of the gay and transgender agendas. She accepts children taking hormones and having body mutilating surgeries. When she was Vice President, she hosted gays at the White House... including a man with a beard wearing a dress.

When she was AG in California, she said she was proud to perform the first gay marriage. She fought for gay marriage when we Californians had voted twice against gay marriage. Just some of what she stands for.

If your hope is in Christ …

“Guys, here’s the thing: America’s founding fathers specifically designed a system that makes it hard for any one person or faction to seize unchecked power. The frustration we feel with every election, divided government, and political gridlock is by design. Each election brings new hopes, followed by familiar disappointments. The older we get, the more we lose hope in the present system. This also is by design: Divine design. The Bible explicitly offers something far better than the next election. Our present frustrations are temporary. A King is coming, and His government will be perfectly righteous. Isaiah describes Him as the ‘Prince of Peace,’ then promises:

’There will be no end to the increase of His government or of peace, on the throne of David and over his kingdom, to establish it and to uphold it with justice and righteousness from then on and forever more.’ (Isaiah 9:7)”

The Lord has led me to vote on one issue over the years. What political party or candidates do not condone/approve the shedding of innocent blood in the womb. I cannot vote for a political party or candidates that condone/ approve of the shedding of innocent blood in the womb.

“What am I going to do after the election results are in?

The same thing I’ve been doing throughout my 25+ years of ministry:

Pray for our leaders.
Preach Jesus as King!”
