Jesus came to save sinners.

We all qualified.

Also, ... because "all have sinned" then none are righteous.

And thats the Problem God had to solve, for you.

The Problem is....How does RIGHTEOUSNESS, have a relationship with SIN?

It can't.

So, God as Christ died on the Cross to deal with your sin, and give you his "Gift of Righteousness".

All the born again are "made righteous" by literally becoming..."THE righteousness of God....IN CHRIST".

Welcome to : SALVATION

Its a "Gift".
This post is confusing righteousness and holiness. There is NO relationship between holiness and sin. But there are no righteous people in the world who don't sin. Look it up in Eccl.

Amen!!....a Born Again is in the righteousness of Christ....through Christ dying on the cross, that has enabled us to come back to God, by the rebirth/ regenerated/ birthed in the Spirit....a true born again, is a child of the most High!...Praise Jesus for giving his life up, so that we can be reunited back to God, by the mighty power of the Holy Spirit...Hallelujah and yes, no sin can dwell in the heart/ spirit of a born again...why, because we have been birthed in the Spirit, there is no SIN in a Born Again ,as the Holy Spirit can’t indwell a sinners heart/ spirit...we are in the righteousness of Christ....my belief.

LIsten,
My post is simply explaining that God who is Righteousness Itself, can't have a relationship with SIN.
There is no Sin in Christ.
There is no Sin in God
There is no sin in Heaven.

So, a human can't become a part of God, Christ, or Heaven, until their SIN is dealt with.

See, because "ALL have SINNED" then none of us can have a relationship with Righteous God, unless our SIN that is separating us from God is resolved.
And we can't deal with our own sin, as a SINNER can't un-sin themselves, Episkopos.

So, God as Christ died on the Cross...as = "God hath made JESUS to be our SIN"

"Jesus is the one time eternal sacrifice for sin:"

THAT is how God dealt with our Sin...2000 yrs ago.

= THE CROSS OF CHRIST where Jesus died for the sin of the world.

A.) The Resurrection proves HE DID.

And now, when we give God our FAITH in CHRIST.... = God "imputes" His righteousness, to us,. as "The Gift of Righteousness"..... and that is how the sinner becomes "made righteous".

God then gives the new birth, and the person becomes a "New Creation in Christ". = the born again are made righteous.

Paul said that he was '""" blameless in the Law"""", in Philippians 3.

Then Paul explains that this does not qualify him or you or me or anyone to be accepted by God, as God does not accept our works, or the law, or the commandments, to accept us, or Save us.

Why?

Because "without the shedding of BLOOD there is no forgiveness of Sin" and the Law, and Commandments and our behavior can't do that.
They can't deal with our sin.

A.) God only accepts what HE has provided as His own Salvation, for us. = that deal with all our SIN.

This is the CROSS OF THE CHRIST.

The Blood Atonement is quite a continuing Miracle.

Consider that Jesus on the Cross is the Blood Atonement.

And that is 2000 yrs ago, He poured out His Blood for us.
And this Cross of Christ, this Blood Atonement, is still saving people TODAY, who just gave God their Faith, in Christ.
This Blood of Jesus is still washing away SIN......2000 yrs later, and FOREVER.

This same Blood of Jesus, this New Covenant, is a continual cleansing, that is always making you and keeping you righteous.

There is Mighty POWER in the Blood of the LAMB..

"Oh, Crimson is the Flow that made me white as snow""

"nothing but the Blood of Jesus"..

Here is where our understanding differs.

Jesus did not go to the cross 2,000 years ago. Or, how else could the Old Testament believers become saved?

In fact, in eternity past and before the foundation of the world Jesus was said to be "the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world." Revelation 13:8.

The Old Testament believers looked forward to the Cross, while the New Testament believers looked back.

Romans 8:29-31, reads:

29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate [to be] conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.
30 Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.
31 What shall we then say to these things? If God [be] for us, who [can be] against us?

To God Be The Glory

""""""""Jesus did not go to the cross 2,000 years ago. Or, how else could the Old Testament believers become saved?""""""""

Its Historically proven that Jesus died on the Cross.

Also, you have all the OT Messianic Prophecies, that told us where, when, how......many things about Jesus, and they all came true.

Some more are about to happen, very soon.
He is Messiah, He is LORD, He is ALIVE, He did die for all our sin on the Cross.

Also, Salvation for the World is based on the Cross, that is true.
But This Salvation is "faith based"........Its = Give God Faith in Christ,.... and God does the rest for you. (Your Salvation).
Philippians 1:6
That is Not your works, as that is your discipleship. Discipleship is not Salvation. Discipleship is what you DO, because you have received "the GIFT of Salvation".

ABRAHAM is the "father of our Faith", Because He was Justified by Faith, same as we are.
Other OT saints, found God's justification..., and when they died they went To "Abraham's Bosom."
You should study that out.
This is a place that is not Heaven ,and its not Hell.. It was for OT saints.
And Jesus went there, after He died and before He was resurrected.

JunChosen...

Ok, that verse is speaking about what God knew would happen,

Let me paraphrase it for you, and hopefully you can see it.

1.) God, knows everything, about everything, at all times.
God knew i would be here with you, in this post, before i was BORN. Even before the foundation of the world.
This is God's FOREKNOWLEDGE.
See that? That is Knowledge of it all BEFORE it happens.

2.) God is Omniscient, Omnipresent, and Omnipotent...>He is All in ALL and has no beginning and no ending.
God is able to know everything, always..
The Bible, is the history of God's creation... and the progressive revelation regarding what happened before, and what is happening now, and what is going to happen next..
See that?
That is Progressive REVELATION.... that GOD saw, as God's Foreknowledge, and its written down for us to KNOW.
So, what does that mean, regarding your statement?

3.) It means that before the Earth was "void and without form"...>"before Adam was created"......."before the Sun was set on FIRE by God's creative power".....God already knew that Man would ""fall as Adam"""" on earth, and Christ would be sent to the Cross on this earth, to restore us back to God.
Adam is the "Adamic" Satanic Fall of us all. Jesus is the 2nd Adam who is the Spiritual and Eternal Restoration of us all, back into God Himself.

That is God's FOREKNOWLEDGE that SAW all that... before it happened.

What im showing you is revelation knowledge.

"""""""The Old Testament believers looked forward to the Cross, while the New Testament believers looked back."""""""

Yes, that is the spirit of prophecy.
That is a OT Prophet, or KING, being shown the future. as 'revelation" or a "vision".
King David had this gift.
He wrote Romans 4:8, that became Paul's Doctrine that is also : 2 Corinthians 5:19

29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate [to be] conformed to the image of his Son, t

Yes.

1.) God foreknew........so that is God knowing the future......and in that verse, He knew who would become a Christian and who will die a Christ Rejector.
He FOREKNOWS this about us all.., before we are born.

And the verse explains that there is a place of spiritual completion, regarding the Born Again, that happens in Heaven, not down here on earth.

See, we are ""born again and sanctified and redeemed"" and "made free from sin" on earth.
And in Heaven there is a final conforming into the very image of Christ... that is "pre-destined" to happen to everyone who is born again once you are in Heaven.
