I love Jordan's translation of Matthew 26:12:

Then Jesus shouted at him, “Put that switchblade back in your pocket! People who use violence are destroyed by it. Or are you thinking that I can’t call on my Father and get him to instantly send me more than a dozen battalions of angels? But then, how would the writings that it must turn out this way have any meaning?”

26 Afta Jesus pau teach all dis stuff, he tell his guys, 2 “You guys know dis awready -- get ony two days till da Passova time. I da Guy Who Fo Real, but wen da Passova time come, dey goin set me up fo kill me on top one cross.”

The day you "Love the bible".......you'll have done more then "read it through it one time".

In Fact, you'll count the word of God as a living spiritual book, the source of Truth,....and literally God's final authority on all matters that pertain to CHRISTianity and Himself.

So, that certainly isn't representing you.

Also, its the fact that you posted many Threads and so many posts that cast your doubt on it, that makes this 'but i didnt really mean all that"....just a bit disingenuous. @St. SteVen .

But if you want to continue to repent, then maybe you can go and delete all your Threads that spit on the bible......that is "full of errors", as you like to believe.

Jesus is the final authority. Jesus is the express image of the Father. Jesus said and did everything the Father said and did.
If we miss this critical point, slavery, subordination of women, war, genocide and God knows what else becomes particularly justified by the religious when it suits them......and, the scriptures that point to a Messiah to come to remedy human woes is conveniently forgotten or misunderstood.
