Interestingly, threads with titles like "why men do not want to get married" are always flooded with married men telling us why they married and nobody cares about why men do not want to get married 
As long as women keep standing guys up....say they want to go on dates but then ghost them.....guys will NEVER believe any woman who has ever done that. Women lie way too easily. Everything from "I have a boyfriend" to "I've never loved anyone the way I've loved you" to even the stupid "I need $20 for________."

The thing is, weird stuff can be fun. Leather straps might even be fun if you're creative. But slapping each other across the face with it? Not my cup of tea either.

A big possibility...Maybe they were aiming.
It seems like it for some of them. That could put an eye out! I think the men should have at least been blind folded (to protect their eyes). lolMaybe they were aiming.

From my understanding, men are walking away from marriage today because there's perverse legal incentive for women to divorce and the modern culture has pushed women into self-centeredness and away from the values that would make for good wives.
These values include purity, service, nurturing, cheerfulness, and loyalty.
A good wife accepts and loves her husband without trying to change him. She focuses on the good in him and leaves the rest in God’s stronger hands.
Western culture is lopsided in that we still expect men to be traditionally masculine providers and protectors, but its become politically incorrect to hold women to a dutiful standard on her end, even the basic standard of staying in the marriage when unhappy.
