STV has quite an agenda against the Bible and Christians. Maybe God brought STV here for us to pull STV out of the Fire!

Loving another is EASY.
It is the “hate”, (which means a “strong dislike”… ) that complicates trying to be civil.
I love everyone.
And…
Like God;
…some others are BE-loved..
…some others are dis-liked…
…some others are strongly disliked…
I do not require performing a “moral or godly” interview before giving a helping hand (in Jesus’ name) to a neighbor or stranger.

I've already spoken before on the OP talk on other occasions, so this is a bit more interesting. And I did notice this thing too a few years ago (being a fan of Alt Rock and Greenday).
1) There is the aspects of Church as a business etc. that does get in the way of things.
2) I have spoken of this kind of thing talking at great lengths of the positive things I got from studying the Martial Arts as a teenager, especially in Christian threads were such things are panned. Namely, we can talk a lot about discipleship without really doing much of it actually. I have seen private examples from friends etc.
3A) On the Con side I will point out the one guy who made a virtue of this back in his early days (Frank Viola) but he was hardly any kind of Christian role model back in the early 2000s. In a nut shell, he was promoting the House Church movement and it seemed to me was largely building his own market via not only selling books but other support materials for people doing that. There were so many problems with what he was doing that would warrant a major topic in and of itself, but will note he largely changed over time as far as softening his stances on things etc.
3B) I was aware of this kind of model in the Charismatic movement, the idea that if you have a gift you should be mentoring other people that are younger than you as part of your ministry, but also got to say that was more theory than what I saw in practice.
4) When I was in the Coptic Orthodox Church there was some of this unofficially when it came to grabbing people for the "deacons" of the Choir, basically as an adult you could have a chance to be what Catholics call "an altar boy" or at least a cantor in the choir.
