With the Republican president Bush, the US has moved closer to the biggest depression since the Great Depression. The economy is playing a big role in Obama being ahead in the polls.

A little over one year ago: 1) Consumer confidence stood at a 2 1/2 year high; 2) Regular gasoline sold for $2.19 a gallon; 3) the unemployment rate was 4.5. 4) the DOW JONES hit a record high--14,000 + 5) American's were buying new cars, taking cruises, vacations overseas, living large!... But American's wanted 'CHANGE'! So, in 2006 they voted in a Democratic Congress and yes--we got 'CHANGE' all right. In the PAST YEAR: 1) Consumer confidence has plummeted ; 2) Gasoline is now over $4 a gallon & climbing!; 3) Unemployment is up to 5.5% (a 10% increase); 4) Americans have seen their home equity drop by $12 TRILLION DOLLARS and prices still dropping; 5) 1% of American homes are in foreclosure. 6) as I write, THE DOW is probing another low~~$2.5 TRILLION DOLLARS HAS EVAPORATED FROM THEIR STOCKS, BONDS & MUTUAL FUNDS INVESTMENT PORTFOLIOS! YES, IN 2006 AMERICA VOTED FOR CHANGE...AND WE SURE GOT IT! ....REMEMBER THE PRESIDENT HAS NO CONTROL OVER ANY OF THESE ISSUES, ONLY CONGRESS. AND WHAT HAS CONGRESS DONE IN THE LAST TWO YEARS, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. NOW THE DEMOCRATIC CANDIDATE FOR PRESIDENT CLAIMS HE IS GOING TO REALLY GIVE US CHANGE ALONG WITH A DEMOCRATIC CONGRESS!!!! If the market had continued the growth of the 1990s, it would have been over 20,000. The Republicans lead the push for this unnecessary war.2) The mortgage crises. Democrats are more to blame, but the Republicans went along for the ride and did nothing to turn things around. The government pressured lenders to give loans to people who shouldn't have loans and when the housing bubble burst, so did the banking house of cards. The trillion-dollar bailout, itself, championed by McCain will bring severe economic condquences.3) Illegal and legal immigration. Millions of poor socialists flooding into the country is costly to the US welfare state as well as producing voters who vote to do to America what they did to the third-world countries they come from. McCain/Bush have been pushing for more immigration.McCain is wrong on every issue he cares about.

The Assyrians were the ones (nation) that took the house of Israel (and a good portion of Judah) captive in circa 741BC (it happened in waves). Over a hundred years later, the house of Judah remaining in Jerusalem and surrounding areas was taken captive by Babylonians.The Israelites never returned to the land, hence the many, many posts as to what became of them. This is important since the entire Old Testament and much of the New is devoted to Israel and the Bible is a book about Israel. There are prophecies in the bible pertaining to Israel as a people that were never fulfilled (such as Ezekiel 37) and returning to the land in the end days.Even in Revelation, the tribes of Israel are marked by God and we know that is yet future since no disasters of that magnitude have ever happened, nor has Christ visible returned yet where He conquers His enemies.As you well know, some of us here believe that these migrating Israelites became Anglo-Saxon, Celtic and kindred peoples. If so, the United States originated from the English colonists and some of the stuff happening today parallels what happened in the OT.

I had someone talk to me today about voting for Obama and Biden. When I stated they wouldn't be getting my vote I was called a racist that belonged back in the 60's. When I asked about Obama's plans on gun control, taxes, American jobs and guarding our boarders, oil, coal and others sources of power she stomped off madder then a wet hen with little ones. If not voting for someone I have no faith in makes me a racist then I guess I'm a racist in the first degree. I don't care if a person is green with blue dots. I could go on but I know this leftist radical goes against everything Christian and American! OR you can chose McCain, a righteous man whose saving graceis Sarah Palin, who has more executive/budgetary experience than OBAMA. Our soldiers won't have died in vain and taxes on Americans and Businesses in America will be lower so that we can all prosper!As a Christian, To me the choice is so clear- Vote McCain/Palin!!! PLEASE do not listen to polls or exit polls which can be manipulated to try to get you to stay home. Did you know that Gore and Carey were like 11 points ahead of President Bush in the polls the night before those elections?
