Hi all, I'm new here... But I'm going to jump right in the controversy zone. I just can't help it on this one. But am I the only one with an uneasy feeling about Obama being President? This guy isn't right, no offense to his supporters. I'm voting for McCain, but only because Huckabee isn't in the race anymore. I really wanted Huckabee. I felt that he was for real.

I think Obama will be president, because to me it seems ALL the liberals, nonChristians and so-called Christians (that doesn't care or know any better) will vote for him. He voted the right to murder a baby before being born. He cares nothing about God's morals. Everybody wants to have their own "morals" these days and they are not really morals either. I really hope not he's in the office, otherwise we will suffer more depression.

Thanks guys, and thanks Tom for the link. I'll go check that out... But I think you're right Jordan. Obama claims to be "submitting" to God's Spirit, but to me you can't submit to God's Spirit and support killing unborn children. Every waking minute of the day God's Spirit keeps it in my heart that abortion is wrong. I cannot ignore that voice, it's loud and clear.

Roger that, loud and clear.Matthew 6:24 - No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.Luke 16:13 - No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon. They can "try" to serve God and Satan. But the reality is it's impossible to serve both at once.

Good article Tom and I tried to convince my mom not to vote for Obama... But she says he wouldn't support abortion because he's "a family man." I tell her other things and she says, "Wouldn't of they have told us this on the news?" The media is electing Obama and the people are falling for it, hook line and sinker! Back to the abortion topic, because this is a topic close to my heart. For three reasons:1. I love children (simple enough.)2. My mother aborted the baby before me (She regrets that, even more so after my 19 year old brother Kenny passed away of Leukemia in 92.)3. My sister wanted to have an abortion, we talked her out of it and that child has been a blessing to me since day one. My niece's name is Valerie, and I love her to death. I feel like she's my kid (probably because she didn't have a dad in her life.)To think of what special people we could be and we are killing off with abortion, it's horrible. I hate it, and a group called the Democratic underground online actually called me a "Freeper," and why? Because I believe in the right to life. That makes me some kind of sick creep. Wow! What have things come to?

The Republicans have become so pathetic that they can't beat the man who will become the least qualified and most socialist president in US history.

I think people are voting out of desperation and hatred for George Bush, and Obama is playing that Bush card to the hilt. All I can tell people is don't vote for Obama because you don't like George Bush. Obama isn't running against George Bush LOL!

Your statement makes me cry alot (whether it is inside, or both, outside and inside)Don't take this personally, but this is one of the reason I'm having a hard time trusting a human because of that. So I go my own way away from everybody, and do what's really right. I lost complete trust in human ages ago. The only way I can trust a human if I see Christ in them...regardless if they can call themselves Christians or Jews. And your statement again, makes me remember scripture(s)John 3:19 - And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.Medias hates telling the full truth. So they gives out full lies or half truth and lies.

It was common wisdom four years ago that a vote for for Bush was a vote for Hillary (which turned out to be Obama). Bush had so destroyed the Republican brand that a Democrat was sure to win, and the Democrats found one of their worst - and their worst can still beat the GOP.Don't blame me for Obama's victory, I didn't vote for Bush four years ago.

I agree with you EdifierIts not just Obama a vote for Obama is a three for one deal we get Obama, Harry Reed, and Nancy Peloski running the country lasest is its a likely scenario that the Dems will have a majority of 60+ taking away any fillibuster power of the Republicans so the scary threesome run the country with no checks and balances.

Well if O' gets in take out your wallet, he is going to empty it. Not just the wealth people's wallets, everyone's. And it will take years to undo the damage he and the Dem's will create. But either way, God is in control!

I agree 100%. If he gets in, we're going to have a depression again.

It's not only the economic problem; it is the judges for all courts, the 2nd rights, the fairness doctrine, the people he will bring into government. It will take years to undo the problems he will leave behind. But then, again, these are the end years of this world age.

Well, we did have other candidates for the Republican party to vote for, but the masses voted for some guy with zero charisma (and policies). Go figure. And Obama is definitely not any better. Then there's other parties to vote for. But will anyone try anyone different (like I do)?NO. It's always either Burger King or McDonald's and then the people wonder why the menu never changes---- both have the same thing and certainly do not serve caviar because one would have to go elsewhere. In the political arena, the parties should be merged and just called them all Republicrats.
